  • the man getting a wax just made me laugh...lol

  • What Are Men For? by Michael Buerk is a well-explained documentary.

  • To people who actually thinks this true I dare you to watch the video here on youtube called "Feminist Challenge".

  • I didnt claim that. men die younger in every nation on earth, they commit suicide at 4 times the rate of women. men lose 90% of custody battles, they lose 83% of cases their homes. they usually still have to share or even make the motgage payments alone. then if the woman gets a new man , daddy is locked out. so it gets worse then they want money off him too. so hes homelsss with huge bills lost his kids (even if the wife has been cheating) and he has to start again?the law is sexist against men

  • I am confused about what are solely male traits and what are solely female traits I am a more masculine woman where does that put me? Why would any person want to be completely driven and violent or completely passive and nurturing? people need to seek to find a balance in themselves of the masculine and feminine parts of their nature if the women are taking the front seat more it implys they are more masculine? where is the middle ground? Every individual needs to take personal responsibillity

  • Women have seriously erred with Feminism, and have accepted the most ridiculous nonsense from their Hatemongering leaders.

  • men are awesome.silent heroes. on behalf of all men and my forefathers who built the world the roads the bridges the ships the trains the spaceships the planes the cars invented the phones the radios the tvs medical cures dug the coal put out the fires saved lives fought+ died to protect us like my grandfathers etc simplistic shallow anti male drivel will end. fatherhood MUST return equality for men+families. all womens lib has created is fatherless workless boys with no male role model.

  • @deniro999 You claim there were no fatherless children before womens lib pretty sure thats untrue. what about all the women widowed due to war how can they watch their kids and work at the same time? back in the olden days at least when women did work they could take the children with them laws around workplaces etc have put an end to that and most men do not help pay for childcare if that is they even stick around do you propose those children die of starvation when daddy gets a new family?

  • Can anybody put subtitles on this video? There are some parts that i just can't understand! Please help!

  • @Sortsitar So true. He puts people into boxes and labels them based on their gender. Rather than seeing them as individuals.

  • @Sortsitar It's also worth noting that most (if not all) religious texts were written by men, and were used to oppress women.

Did you know that women were discouraged from running in marathons, because they were told that their wombs would fall out?!

  • @PurpleShades1 Did you know that men had the ends of the dicks cut off, because they were told it would make them cleaner? Oh wait, they still do that to this day.

  • @MrJohnnyOldschoolYoung girls are also circumcised in order to prevent them from having attractions, and to cause discomfort if they act on it. The bible says that if a woman is raped, she must marry that rapist. That God made them experience pain during child birth and their periods as a way of punishing them for eve did. I could go on. Alot of societies still live this way.

  • @PurpleShades1 Oh please. Name for me one single modern culture where females are circumcised at birth. That is only done in primitive societies. My point was, western culture looks upon this act as despicable, yet it accepts male circumcision.

Also, you're Biblical knowledge is skewed. The law you refer to was specifically for the ancient tribe of Israel, and says that if a man defiles a young woman, he must care for her for the rest of his days as if she was his wife.

  • A little social experiment: We take all the feminists and women who truly think men are redundant, and put them on a large continent with resources to start them off and then leave for 200 years. After 200 years have passed, we go and see how far the manless society has progressed relative to the rest of the world, which would be the control.

  • @Krogoth04 let's do it

  • You guys need to get a life.

  • "well that's a very male measure for business"

No. that is the fucking measure of business.

  • Its thanks to men that machines made women's jobs easier, yet we do not think about that. Its actually thanks to men making technological advances that made work easy enough for women to work as well.

The glass ceiling is a lie, and lots of stuff on here is true and untrue as well.

  • Men are needed to advance technology, because we all know women haven't invented anything useful in the history of mankind. We also need men to lead, as in the president. Women aren't fit to lead a hole country, which is why we haven't had a woman president when the majority of voters have been women for quite some time. They, women, know damn well that they're not fit to lead a nation, which is why they won't vote for one.

  • @Dmacho78 I think there is more than enough political devision of this country that gender is only a minor factor when it comes to elections.

  • @Dmacho78 are you by any chance single??

  • @paigeymm No, I'm not.

  • @Dmacho78 shocking.

  • @Dmacho78 BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM HEADSHOT!!!! Damn you are right lol What happened to Hilary Clinton who was running for president?? hahaha Feminists fail....

  • @Dmacho78 That's not true. Nanny Maroon ( a woman ) invented army strategies such as camouflaging and scarecrows, which allowed the soldiers to blend into their surroundings, and gave the illusion of duplication. The underground railroad movement was also lead by a woman. Maybe women would have invented and discovered more things if they weren't confined to the household, and made to be obedient wives and baby-making machines.

  • @PurpleShades1 So you're saying that for 8000 years of recorded history, across every single culture, throughout every single country, women have always been oppressed, and THAT is why they haven't succeed in the areas of art, science, and technology.

The only way that could be true is if women were allowing themselves to be "oppressed", as history shows that people revolt after only a few decades of oppression. What makes more sense is that women simply do not find those fields appealing.

  • @MrJohnnyOldschool Religon continues to oppress women today.

  • "93% of men perpetrate violence"

That is a lie, and miles from the truth. Its actually even, but women get excuses for their behavior that are never questioned.

and in many cases women get men to do acts of violence for them.

  • Joan Smith is a HYPOCRITE, accusing the Michel Buerk of cherry picking statistics, she and her feminist cohorts have been doin that for years. Worse still they use inflamed or bogus statistics as well.

  • Women perform 66 percent of the world’s work, produce 50 percent of the food, but earn 10 percent of the income and own 1 percent of the property. let acknowledge that evey person has femine and masculine attribute and that we all have instinct to care for a child and to fight and compete.

  • @Ashleyapples3 Men produce nearly 100% of everything and don't include watching grass grow as "work." Women make up 95% of over-eaters. Women spend 90% of the worlds income. See what I did? I pulled bullshit made up statistics out of thin air just like you did. But just like you, I can manipulate data to make it seem like my numbers are true if I have a special definition of "work" and "income" and "food production." Your post is typical of feminist rhetoric backed up by absolutely nothing.

  • @Ashleyapples3 yeah we both have feminine and masculine traits but in general masculinity is better with the masculine (men) and femininity better off with the feminine (women). Do you think a man can ever be as feminine and womanly as a woman? Do you think a woman could ever be as masculine and manly as a man? Sure there are exceptions, but those exceptions aren't the norm. The norm is masculine men and feminine women. There's purpose as to why that is. That's why nature has both.

  • @Ashleyapples3 Sure, both genders have feminine and masculine traits, the problem is that while women are encouraged and even congratulated for exploring and expanding their 'masculine' traits, men are shamed and ridiculed for exploring or expanding their feminine traits. What it comes down to is: women are allowed to take on aspects of either gender, while men are still forced into their role of what society deems to be 'masculine'.

  • @ColonelCosmic You have it completely backwards. Men are shamed and ridiculed for their manly drives, such as shouting at a sports event, wrestling in the backyard, or being highly sexually driven. But they are given a "pat on the back" when they act feminine, sit still and behave, and cater to the female whim. Simply turn on the television and observe how the media portrays men in sitcoms and ads. They are always stupid, bumbling, and paired with a demanding bitch.

  • @MrJohnnyOldschool Actually we are both right, cuz men are damned if they and damned if they don't. Men get shamed for not being "men" and then society claims that men are all manner of foul things. Masculinity and "testosterone" are condemned. But, at the same time, men are shamed and ridiculed for attempting traditionally "feminine" aspects; men still get ridiculed for wanting to be fashion designers, hairstylists, nurses, house husbands, etc. or engaging in traditionally "female" activities.

  • @MrJohnnyOldschool thats a satrire for both men and women. its a joke how each gender doesn't understand each other. if you look in at movies for men, they glotify competition and truimpth. if you look at some movies geared toward women, i guess they can make guys more sensitive yet tuff. i guess either gender don't understand each other and thats how it plays out. but thats just stereotype view of gender

  • @Ashleyapples3 What a remarkably naive and narrow-minded way of looking at it.

  • @ColonelCosmic

and before red-baiting feminists attempt to blame this squarely on men, keep in mind, how many women folk towards the sensitive guys VS the bad boys? women have contributed just as much to this conditioning, if not more than men.

  • @nigen Agreed. I tend to see this as something that human "society" does; not the acts of a specific gender.

  • i dont have the instinct to care for a child,my instinct is to secure & defend life , which is a common diffrence i find between myself and women,i have a flag to keep up she has no concept of this flag and keeps distorying it, my income isnt mine or hers its for my children and their children, her income is for clothes & branded shoes which i could manfacture myself for free ffs ,its like lions i guess, the females are easy to trick & catch but the males are a diffrent ball game altogether

  • @Ashleyapples3 Who's ass did you pull THOSE "statistics" from? *laughs*

  • this is so right!!

  • Caring and sharing is for females

  • I think that qualities like caring and sharing are positive, and should not be restricticted to just one particular sex.

  • @PurpleShades1 Caring ans sharing is a feminine threat and ideal for family life. Caring and sharing won't build skycscrapes nor put men on the moon.

  • @PJCelis A feminnine threat? Could you please elaborate.

  • @PurpleShades1 Look into voting patterns of men vs women. Look into effects of testosteron vs oestrogen. Look into study topics women vs men choose. It becomes pretty obvious that females like cooperation and being social, while men like to compete and be the best.

  • @PJCelis Amen!!!

  • @PJCelis

well in take, I'd say the healthiest ideal would be to have a balance. now if we went the in super-sensitive say... "feminine" traits, yeah things won't move as fast, but things will be maintained. now if everything was masculinized, everything would move REALLY fast, but would be cut throat and burn out fast, so the key is the find the balance and not commit to favoring one side.

  • @nigen In my opinion the traditional gender roles are such a balance. Raising the kids and taking care of each other through church ("society") was feminine, building the future and risking one's fortune on innovation was masculine. Contrary to popular belief women have been doing "fulfilling" work outside the home for a long time - feminism simply pushed for full time careers at the expense of the family.

  • @PJCelis

well it depends on the era, however, I wouldn't want to pit the church as the icon of nurture and equality. mind you, they're track record is more and highly questionable. if you can have the general traditions of ceremony and community WITHOUT authority given to a central power, then you should be in good shape.

  • @nigen I don't like the central church authorities either. That's why, as an atheist, I'm most sympathetic to the Protestants who don't recognize the pope and believe in personal interpretation of the bible. IMO it was respect for individual liberties (constitution) combined with the WASP culture (White Anglo Saxon Protestants) that made the USA great in its early days. "Changing government" in those days was as simple as changing churches.

  • @PJCelis

well if you think that's the way to go... sorry I still keep wary of organized religions... particularly expansionist religions.

  • @nigen One more thing, I don't believe in equality. Egalitarianism destroys all that is beautiful and orderly and replaces it with ugliness and conflict.

  • @PJCelis

well, for me I favor net-zero equality. in other words, no one is favored, but no one is held back either. that way one is only obstructed by their own limitations and not something stupid like skin or religion. do I believe in pure equality? no, its impractical, because no matter what, no one is going to be equal to everyone in skill or expertise due to people being different.

  • @PurpleShades1 he means feminine "trait" but he wrote it as "threat"

  • @CJC1295DAC Yeah I'm sorry for the typo. English is not my mother tongue.

  • @CJC1295DAC Okay I understand, though I disagree. 'Masculine' and 'Feminine' are labels that were created by society to categorise certain characteristics. If a man is sensitive, that doesn't make him any less of a man. If a woman is aggressive, that doesn't make her any less of a woman. Isn't it time that we stopped acting like two dimensional cartoon characters, and embrace all sides to are personalities?

  • @PurpleShades1 An aggressive woman may not be less of a woman. I would say she is more like a man. See the difference? Masculine and feminine are not "personality types" driven by social conditioning, as you seem to imply. They are defining characteristics of what is male and what is female. Males are larger, much stronger, and much more physically and sexually aggressive than females. To deny this is to deny biology and hence, reality. Masculine & Feminine are no more "labels" than dog and cat.

  • @PurpleShades1 Certain traits are more attractive and suitable in a mate then others. An aggressive woman might have to much testosterone and be on a biological level be less fertile and given to reproductive success then the more feminine and estrogen loaded women. Many traits are derived by biology, not by society.

  • @PurpleShades1

well it is all true, these are socially constructed traits fueled by the culture (which in our case in manufactured by the media) now as much as people use this argument to b e dismissive, the problem is, these social constructs do count and do affect boilogical selection. I hate to admit that, but it is what it is.
