Back in the old wow days, you could kite monsters across the world by taunting or shooting etc. So these bosses ended up in towns and caused problems, so Blizzes solution was to make kiting impossible, so thts why you get evade after a while, monsters have to stay in a set area, this is legit, not a private server, just wow before they fixed kiting

yes you can. type in kiting to stormwind. these lvl 80s kited the hardest boss in game. the boss they kited was unstoppable. the more nobbs he killed, the more HP he got. he had over 120,000,000 hp in that "raid". the people who kited him got banned. they even had to reset the server, therefore everyones characters were gone.
