A character driven plot, that shows development of a character thru the course of a movie...u know why these movies are so crappy, because george lucas feels like he needed to tie everything up in a nice little bow. The prequels may not have been great, but EP III was the best. Anyway, you have to admit, the duel at the end was amazing and the dialogue during the duel, in my opinion, was one of the best moments in the saga. Plus, ROTS got better reviews from the critics than Return of the Jedi. Oh, and for all the haters, why don't you go try to make a Star Wars movie. I'm almost positive you wouldn't. ROTS summed up what happened to anakin, and that is all I care about.

He had a lot of argumens with the cinematogropher who thought he overstepped his boundaries by giving too specific instructions and he basicly forced him to do what he wanted, he gave huim bvery specfic instrucyions and had ghim folow his plans, same with the costume model and set and prop designer, he was very demanding amnd specific, also from the reyular crewm, which he forced on schedule and the actors.

one of the reasons why ep 4-6 were better is because lucas had people who challenged his decisions. look at this video, no one is challenging him, this is hero worship. no one is telling lucas what they think should occur. granted it's lucas' idea, but it never hurts to question where he's going from time to time, to prevent him from screwing up. more 'no men' and less 'yes men' would've helped ep 1-3

As a SW fan, I've seen these making ofs and while i really respect the almost 1000 talented people who created this scene, i wonder was it effective?

Every frame looks breathtaking, but it wasn't emotionally as moving as for instance the ROTJ confrontation between luke and his father. I guess the impact of a scene is not garuanteed by the amount of people and hours of labour working on it. The scene should speak for itself, not the organisation behind it. Correct me if i'm wrong.

check this out many people bash lucas for the fight scenes inconsistent with the oldies but being the fact that was the jedi hay day makes it that they were more well trained and youthful with more stamina and wat not as too the oldies because they are old and they cant fight as well as they used too and their reflexes go away and since luke is trained by old obi wan he learns to fight like old obi wan and is really trained the way obi was or anakin was
