@Blazeman1999 Are you even serious? I mean, everybody (including experts) says this game is actually better than OoT (best game ever, that's questionless) and you are saying "Tell me if it gets better"? Wow. You must be like 2 years old or something.
@aaronlasanta I do not agree. Even if most of the critics give the game a good rating, that's not a guarantee for you to have a good experience with it. For me, this game doesn't has the same feeling as OoT and the previous one, Twilight Princess. TP was the best Zelda experience I've had. As for Skyward Sword, I've tried to play it several times, but it just doesn't get to me. That's a feeling you can't generate with good ratings.
I also hope it get's better, but I'm afraid it won't.
@joris1992 I don't like having the same opinion as the critics either, but I've tried it and I believe it's an aweome game. It's a change from the other Zeldas, but can't it be good?
@aaronlasanta If you experience this game as a good, enjoyable game, then I'm very happy for you. I'm not judging the game to be good or bad, but it's just my personal opinion that I don't like it.
Yeah when I watched this I thought I dont really like this arrangement it barley even sounds like the son it is loaded with all this other stuff that piles on its natural beauty and it ruins it. It stinks cuz this is the only arrangement I can find. I'll keep looking.
I got the game now, played for 3hours, and I really enjoy it! Im going to play some more right now - Keep it up! I see there is a small discussion in the comment-section here - I would say that my arr. is the comercial one while this is the artistic one, so yes - All the best!
@thomandy I could not have said this any better. The game is pretty awesome indeed. I've had it for two days now, and I believe I'm getting near the end:/ So addictive..
Not a very good arrangement. Too simple and at times you're playing merely a two note chord, and the embellishment in the beginning wasn't needed. >_>
@Masterz13 I'm sorry to hear that you don't like it, but calling it "too simple" is a very weird thing to do. Yes, sometimes two note chords are played, so? This is music and not some sort of standard arrangement that tries to be over the top big by playing more notes than necessary. It's a pretty complex piece, definitely not to be called 'simple'.
@nintendude008 It's quite likely that you associate 'better' with something that sounds more comfortable to your ears. Now, if we compare thomandy's arrangement with this arrangement, this one is way more complex. Here there has been taken care for numerous inner melodies that have come to life, whereas thomandy just plays the main melody in his right hand, and the basic chords in the left hand. You may prefer one of the other, but in terms of arranging, this one is way more 'sophisticated'.
do you think you could arrange the actual e3 2011 trailer? as in, the one they showed actually at e3 2011. it's the one similar to this one but not quite. i would arrange it myself but alas, i haven't been gifted with the ability to play by ear...
@Unillamapeg Well, the melody and the construction is the same, they just added some things in between. It feels unnecessary for me when this is already the complete version of the first piece of music played in the Combat theme.
@joris1992 Technically speaking, it was actually revealed during Nintendo's Press Conference that this is the theme for The Legend of Zelda:Skyward Sword, so you could always just make the title "The Legend of Zelda:Skyward Sword Theme (Piano Solo)", or something to that effect.
Whoa that's so awesome haha! It works really good at this piano performance, not as good as the original orchestrated version, but still. Thanks for mentioning!
It has already been transcribed by a friend, Mark Hilkemeijer. The video where I play the music of the trailer is transcribed by me. I am in posession of both the sheets.
The last Skyward Sword music you played was originally featured in a Twilight Princess trailer. This music, however, seems to have been written specifically for Skyward Sword! Personally, I think I hear bits of the Dragon Roost Island theme in there.

Might want to update the title. 8'D It's in the new trailer as well. From E3.

Arghh, why couldn't they be more original:( Was planning of making a new video of the new trailer, but that doesn't work..
Anyways, it was originally starred in the Combat trailer, so should I change the title?
joris1992 8 months ago
@joris1992 It's up to you, but I think they planned to use the song for that trailer from the start but previewed it early for the other trailer. XP

@joris1992
Maybe. You could name it 'skyward sword e3 2011 trailer music'
