i was considering going to malaysia and do mount kinabalu towards the last half of november 2011, but i keep reading november is monsoon season and usually it's not the best time to climb. how was the weather in november when you went? your vid looks like it was a really good weather to climb.
@DrJeepney Yeah we got lucky we had a pretty good weather climbing up to gunting lagadan, and up to the summit dawn the next day. I remember though it was pouring when we were descending. That week in november we were in kota kinabalu we had scattered rainshowers but it was generally dry. They'll let you climb up to Gunting Lagadan, but if it's raining hard park rangers sometimes won't allow climbers to head to the peak.
