I just viewed the whole ordeal tonight for the first time. So the whole thing behind this trash is the bell still rings for those who will 'believe'. Sorry, but if this is a true CHRISTMAS film, the attention should not be on santa, but on Jesus. There, I said it. Roll your eyes all you want, tell me I don't 'get it', whatever. They call it Christmas for a reason = (Christ...mass) If you'd just believe in HIM, not Santa, and remember what Christmas is really about.

@retroexplosion1 actually I believe that "Santa" does tie in with Jesus due to the fact that the legend of Santa actually come from the word Saint or holy one because years ago there was a man who did things like give presents and things to the needy or even pay dowrys for families who could not afford to pay them so their children could marry.Sounds to me it does tie into Jesus.Well at least the giving and saint part. If you google it youll see. I'm also a christian.

My favorite part of this song is the chuffy-like beat that it begins with. That's some imagination to take the chuffing sound of the steam engine and turn it into song form. That's awesome! I replay that chuffing beat over & over!

we sang this in a show, the guys in my class out number the girls, i know surprising isnt it? we can barely hear the melody especially when our school symphony orchestra is playing, my teacher had to get another all girls class to sing with us lol, the girls in my class freakin suck, and when our symphony orchestra played this, it was unbelievable way better than this version,it was like the instrumental version of the song, should look it up or something

I know! When I went to go see it in theaters, I was thinking "Man, this is just gonna be another magicless newfangled thing.". Boy, was I WRONG! :D The songs have such Christmas Broadway magic in them and the story makes you wanna cry... lol :') Speaking of Broadway, I'll bet in Christmas time, Skimbleshanks the Railway Cat is the Cat Of The Polar Express! :)
