Sad that the rest of the Marge Piercy poem is not shown. The original segment appears to be a part of the one from Howard Zinn's movie "The People Speak". In that segment, which falls towards the end, the title is given ("The Low Road" -Marge Piercy), and the whole poem is recited, with small deviations from the original text. The end is FAR more inspiring than the beginning.

@AWitchProject: How I saw it was just renting the dvd from netflix. There's no source to watch free movies online, that has this, that I've found. The title of the dvd is "The People Speak", the directors that netflix credits are Chris Moore, Howard Zinn (btw, you can find it searching for this name), and Anthony Arnove. Staceyann Chin is not credited in the netflix page.

hmm... good but...i dont entirely agree with the message. our power isnt alone- we have power when we are organised and united. if there had have been 5000 people in front of that tank in tianamen square, maybe they would have had more of a chance, especially if they had people within the military sympathetic to their cause. Its how significant things have been won in the past. nothing has been won by indivudual, isolated action...but action is important.

Kayman93, if you think about it, South park animation is done by professionals, and this person did it just by himself, probably a freshman in some animation collage. Plus this person was by himself. Do you know how many animators it takes to make an episode of any animated show?

I have a problem with the tianemen square portrayal. It makes it seem like the tank drivers made no effort to go around tank man when in fact several efforts were made. the reason he got ran over was because he would keep moving in front of it when ever it turned. the commander finally got fed up with it and ordered the driver to continue straight even if he doesn't move.

this makes it seem like the military ran him over in cold blood.
