Create a Basic Flower in Inkscape for SCAL

When I select all nodes and click on Make Symetric I do not get the handles on the nodes.

Never mind I worked it out had to select Show Bezier handles

Plus, what exactly happens when you select path, object to path? Visibly nothing changes, I think :)

Nothing visually but Paths = SCAL can see it. No Paths = SCAL can NOT see it.

Hi, me again :) I still don't know how to get rid of internal lines and make a solid object to cut in scal. Please, could you help me? Even if I were to make a loop de loop line with the caligraphy pen, and then put it in outline display mode, you can see the lines crossing each other. I would love to design my own cuts, but this is holding me up. Thanks

I made a flower in inkscape using the create stars and polygons button(using the polygon). I used the "5" corners setting and my rounded setting at -1.410. My question is how do I send the flower to scal to cut without it having all the internal lines?
