"Casper" is fantastic Comedy/Fantasy movie with interesting storyline and great visual effects. This film is great choice for Christmas/New Year time - no less impressive than Home Alone. 'Casper' reminds me another great movies "High Spirits" (1988) and "The Canterville Ghost" (1996).

Bill Pullman, Christina Ricci and Malachi Pearson were impressive of course but Cathy Moriarty was just Brilliant. Amazing acting from wonderful actress

I loved this movie as a kid! This was the best one! All the others stunk becuse they made no sense continuity wise. The special effects were awful in those. The ghosts are way too solid looking, but in this one they are not. They are nice and transparent. This movie may be over 10 years old, but the ghosts still look good to this day!

Anybody remember the Pepsi commertial? It still makes me laugh to this day.

I agree with you all. I love this movie, very underrated. All the actors do an excellent job, the story was excellent, and they did an excellent job of getting to know Casper, finding out what he was all about and his personality, and what he really wants now. Casper is deffinitley a 5-star film that I as well will treasure forever. Also, Casper's Lullaby, the main score of the film, is an excellent song. Its so incredibly haunting and you can loose yourself in it quite easily.
