If everyone decides to stand out because someone urged them to, then it's not really much better than doing things that seem normal. Either way, rating someone based on how much they stand out is arbitrary anyway.
However, urging someone to break the norm to do what's right is definitely something I agree with. Whether someone's falling into acceptance of what's wrong, or is afraid to do something outside of the norm, choosing not to change something you know is wrong is just wrong.
I do like the fact that in my experience, the most outspoken environmental advocates are the ones that consume the most. If everyone decides to stand out because someone urged them to, then it's not really much better than doing things that seem normal. Either way, rating someone based on how much they stand out is arbitrary anyway.
However, urging someone to break the norm to do what's right is definitely something I agree with. Whether someone's falling into acceptance of what's wrong, or is afraid to do something outside of the norm, choosing not to change something you know is wrong is just wrong.

I do like the fact that in my experience, the most outspoken environmental advocates are the ones that consume the most. I'm not saying that they're aren't people who volunteer their time and make a real effort in their lifestyles to help the earth, and I' m not saying that consumption is always bad, just that everyone likes to hop on the bandwagon to get their feel-good and it's not really warranted.

Even electricity generators are run either from Oil or Coal. yeah.. young people are not stupid, but worse, they're all blinded by mtv, money, ipods, popularity, "beauty", MEDIA, and so on. everyone should start thinking about what their true purpose in live is.. about love, feelings, about a better world becouse it IS possible. it just takes you to take a step and help someone next to you to do so :)

I give a hand to you for standing up for the cause. =) Its time for our generation to do something instead of just sitting down on our butts and just watching, because soon the fire's gonna catch up with us and by then it will be too late to do anything. Its not as if the fire haven't touch you yet you can do nothing about it. We should just... start and contribute in whatever way we can before things get messed up even more.

One simple word "MONEY" is the reason the environment continues to descend. It is easy for you to lay there and make a video to tell others to do the right thing. However, when you're in position of power like the politicians, you're up against the big corporation that violates many environmental laws. Therefore, if this politician were to go up against them, they can kiss their career good bye and be replaced by another that will listen to big corps.

You know, this person is stepping up. Even if this video doesn't change the world, and it didn't promise to, at least someone had the courage to speak out. And besides, it takes one person to start a revolution. We're all so determined to see the planet as a changeless one, that we don't put forth any effort into changing it. If everyone who made of these videos decided to do something about the state of our only world, then we would have a motion on our hands.
