if you look at the original score there is a reprise to close every door. The director wanted the production as long as possible so the audience got there moneys worth. Other chose not to do the reprise. The megamix makes the ending very high energy and exciting.

An interesting choice by the director, to reprise Close Every Door at the end of the show, making for an anti-climatic ending. Personally, I don't prefer this ending, but I admire him/her for doing something completely different!

I truly enjoyed watching this production. It was outstanding. Congratulations to all.
