@stevenk79 totally agree, she has one of the most powerful vocals that has ever been around. what she lacks is the production/remixing that other less worthy singers go for.... her back catalogue should be re-produced, remixed and re-packaged for the charts/club scene and then she'd blow every other artist out of the water....if you listen to artists like madonna, she actually has a very weak wobbly vocal... its all masked by the production and remixes and of course her extravagant shows.

the word disco died the music didnt. madonnas "confessions" was pure disco, chers "living proof" was disco, oh exuse me dance, this is an awful comeback, i was expecting a "cher like" comeback, but instead we get a mish mash of bland pop tunes, not radio friendly at all. "im a fire" is the closest thing to dance/disco on the album, and its awful!! donna needs to go back to her roots, the way madonna did on "confessions"

the album had a promising debut, but it sank fast, with no hit single on radio, the album cannot stand on its own, radio is ignoring "stamp your feet" with its "aint no holla back girl" type beat, its just not donna.. come on donna give us a "cher like" album...not this shit

without promotion, videos, tv appereances, interviews, magazine covers, in this mevisual media culture this has failure written all over! And she deserves a huge comeback!! Here's my theory: perfect storm. Donna started in 1974-75, when posters and album art were all the promotion you had. By the time video came along in 1979-81, she was 32, born-again, so "sensual/sexual" portrayals of her were left behind with the Bad Girls cover art (which many str8 men "appreciated" at the time!). Then she was remarried and starting her second family, so having posters of Mom in a miniskirt a la Tina Turner was not kosher. And like ABBA, her new 80's material was too mature.

I hope for a more "disco" sounding version to be released.. but I love your collection of pics - what a gorgeous lady!! When disco died in 1980-81, too many valid icons were DISGARDED for the punk and new wave people following them - Donna is a Minelli/Streisand/Garland/Fran­klin/Deitrich/Piaf worthy icon, and should be celebrated as such. I like Madonna, but am amazed how she replaced Donna in the 80's so quickly (even singing the same dance/disco style) - racism?

I so love this song. I am not gonna hate on ya, okay, but, I have to agree that it is repetitive. Trust me though, you have the right thing in mind. So, kudos to you for putting it out there! Donna REIGNS AGAIN!

Don't want to be negative here but this mix is a bit too repetitive and sometimes makes it kind of unbearable to listen and yes I know it's not an official remix. I think that the original has already too much vocals and in my opinion it really makes it messy repeating them over and over... It makes it all very confusing and hard to listen. But really thank you for promoting this song. It really needs some promotion.

Hope Sony gets its act together and soon post here the real video clip.
