  • shoulda threw a senko or a hook on that hot dog and landed that big boy, let em go to fight another day!

  • she had to wiggle the hot dog -.-

  • i should try that next time i go fishing

  • bass always eat hot dogs they arent spoiled they eat anything.

  • WOW, You impress me!! Nice job. Like your video.

  • lol

  • My pops always said when u are fishing be as quiet as possible and creep to the bank. This video shows fish can see out of the water easily. They strike quickly, but the fish was already on the hot dog before she even threw it.

  • @stewwalk I think the fish is actually just used to her feeding it :p

  • u where playing fetch with that hog

  • Awesome vid

  • he didnt eat the small peices cuz you threw them in 3 inches of water!!

  • jeez i wish mine did that all he does is kill baby bluegill just cuz hes 21' inches he doesennt even eat them!

  • That's cool, he went for it before it even hit the water. I want a pet bass!

  • Holy crap did you see how fast he took that!!!!!!!

  • nice haha

  • we have a bass pond and are large mouth bass is about 20 inches. he will eat sunfish.

  • Same here. I caught the one in my pond 3 times. He's a good 6 or 8lbs. Whenever you hook a bluegill or any other type of sunfish, he tries to eat it.

  • Awesome video!

  • thats awesome

  • So cute!

  • Dont start a newdist camp. Could turn out bad. haha. jk.

    Good vid

  • lol i love the cackle at the end. nothing like getting a good kick out of nature

  • When you are old and nuts you get to cackle all you want - keeps the neighbors at bay!

  • Sure I've got lots of frogs. I keep the weeds real long so they have a place to hide. I haven't seen any real large ones this year though. All the fish have just started to go now that the weather is changing.

  • How large is the pond?

  • It's about an acre.

  • @atthebasspond dude.... you are awesome! i love old ppl!

  • is there frogs in the pond?

  • I have 2 medium sized largemouth in the canal behind my house that love hot dogs. They wait for me every day to feed them after work. They prefer the hot dogs sliced lengthwise, (like long flat worms). I'll try to get a video posted soon.

  • HA! Glad I'm not the only one feeding bass! Funny how they like the hotdogs sliced like a worm or snake. Just proves how sight oriented they are. I do have a bunch though that will eat the chunks. Some I had to start with the hotdog "worms" first then later ease them into chunks. I still feed every day - I throw fish food in which everyone seems to ignore, then bread for the bluegill then the bass food. My bass are most active and hungry mid-day so I feed around 1PM

  • I think it is the SAME hot dog, because the big last one looks as if a piece has been broken off. But of cause - it IS a much better bite for the spoiled bass. Very good video!

  • BASS ARE AWESOME!

    *****stars

  • Amazing, that is really cool

  • I have a bass in a 75gal. tank and it wont eat nothing but crayfish/crawdad minnows goldfish basicly anything alive,or fit in its mouth. My catfish might eat it thow. They are spoiled i gess.

  • whao thats a big one

  • That one is named Meanandlean and is about 17"

  • u actually name them...how do u know which one is which?

  • They all look a bit different and dang sure act differently. I have a little blog on them I think you can access if you click on my page here. Unfortunately I haven't kept it up this year. The pond isn't as clear this year.

  • cool...did u really made that pond?...i made a small pond a year ago and bass don't seem to survie but the bluegills and catfish does...i really want to make a pond like that i just don't have enough land lol

  • No, it was here when I bought the place although I did have it raised a tiny bit which made it a bit larger. Perhaps your bass didn't survive because they weren't eating?

  • oh thats cool then...maybe my pond was just too small for it though...

  • he anticipated it

  • wow nice fish! did u catch it fishing then put it in there?

  • Nah, he lives there along with a bunch of others. I don't catch my bass on purpose anyway - they are my entertainment and pets.

  • ohhh lol

  • hahaha i love the outdoors

  • Thats awsome.

  • wow nice haha
