  • All were miss'in is the Goodyear blimp droppin retardent! You might wanna check out my Big Bird video's dropping in NorCal. Very similiar video which was used for improvement seminars.

  • it does not smother the fire, the retardant just slows the fire down. any wildland fire fighter well tell you that

  • just wondering. whats the red stuff its droping? foam?

  • Nate The red stuff is Phos-chek a fire retardant liquid gel that feels like mud...that drop was the max load of 10,000 gallons.. most of the smaller bombers carry 2,000 gal max...thanks for watching.

    Cheers, Tim

  • @Photo1productions actually the supertanker can hold 20,000 gallons of retartend or water

  • That is Fire Retardent that helps smother the blaze and prevent more fire.

  • Nice clear video for a change!! Great looking air tanker too. Ditto on the drop comment!

  • Amazing. I wonder what the Wright Bros. would think if they were to see this.

  • As I type this, the 910 is fightning a fire right here in my community of Big Bear. It's an amazing aircraft, beuatiful to watch as it drops it's load of retardant in just a few seconds. Thanks to the firefirghters who are working valiantly to save our community. I have complete faith in them.

  • Thanks for checking it out , its is there to let people see what is being done by our firefighting community. Good luck ,I'm sure everything will work out for all of you in Big Bear...hang in there

    Tim
