Nois is probably dead.  The Chlois theory is that Chloe will become known as Lois Lane in the future. And the basic idea of the Chlois Theory isn't that she magically becomes Lois but that she ALWAYS HAS BEEN.

But Chloe is more like Lana Lang from the comics, why not make her Lana Lang?

Chlois to me is nothing more then a Chloe fan shipper theory no matter how much people who support claim it isn't.

I get it Lois ends up a reporter at the DP and romantic interest of Clark, everything else is not important unless you can somehow shoehorn Chloe into that characteristic or make Chloe characteristics that have little relation to "ILL" out to be more important then they are.

- AlMiles stated that Chloe was given aspects of Lana AND Lois. (The originally wanted to do a young Clark and Lois series, but were bared from doing that by JJ Abrams.)

- Incorrect. There are Chloisers who aren't Chlarkers. There are Chlarkers who aren't Chloisers. There are those who are Chlarkers and Chloisers. (I'm both.)

Chloe is to passive to be ILL for me(ILL wouldn't put up with half the crap SVClark does).

I also expect Lois to be on the prowl hunting down stories, Chloe 90% of the time seemed like her butt was glued to the chair(when helping Clark).

ILL not a world class hacker(big part of Chloe's character, which I see people try pass off a scan of a comic of Lois using a computer somehow = hacking)

There was a discussion about this on the Chlois thread on TWOP. The posters who worked for actual newspspers mentioned that this is the way it's done now. In the past, going out and investigating in the way Lois used to do it was the norm. But that was before computers.

And at the level she was at before being fired by Lex, covering city counsel and the like is normal day-to-day business.

And it turns out they have actually made Lois a hacker to rival Oracle in the comics.

AlMiles gave away that Chlois might be their endgame in the fifth season. They thought that it might be the last and put Chloe in the DP, killed Jonathan, and introduced Zod. Nois? Not in the DP and then possibly dead.

Search for "tola45 abyss". They kept showing single frames of the "Vessel" kiss and in the third video at about 5:30, the SUPERMAN symbol appears right before the frame of the kiss.

Chloe in the DP to me always seemed like AL/Miles way of saying hey look Clark at the Daily Planet isn't this great. We hardly see Chloe actually be a journalist while there she always was to busy sidekicking(and please don't tell me that Lois in the comics sidekicks/hacks like Chloe does for Clark)

They should have had the cast go to college and put Chloe & Clark in there but I guess A/M thought the DP was a better backdrop.

Actually, they did comment on the types of articles she's published. Poster listed some on TWOP. She'd covered parking meters and pigeons, obits and wedding announcements, and hearings. She was in the basement. Those are pretty standard at that level. And she also had her own stories that she worked on.

They also showed her sidekicking in the day and finishing up her work at night. And since she wasn't fired by Lex for a legitimate reason, her editor must 've been pleased with her work.

Yes, according to comics readers, Lois in the comic sidekicks/hacks for Clark like Chloe does.

But it wasn't just about a better backdrop. AlMiles thought the season might be the end. If their plan was Chlois--and I'm sure it was--then Chloe at the DP and Nois dead would be a pretty big indicator.

And another big Chlois anvil is his superhearing. You can do a YouTUbe search for "chlois superhearing".

And it wasn't AlMiles' decision to have "Lois Lane" appear, it was a WB executive's.

I wouldn't put much stock into what people at TWOP say. Many times they take one comic scan and put it out of context to somehow line up with Chloe.

Look at it this way, there is ways I can line up SVLana to ILL, does that make her ILL?

As for the DP, it's all your speculation, just as my point is mine. Chloe and Clark could have worked in an empty room with computers and I don't think it would have made any difference to what we saw on the show. So to me it came accross as a backdrop.
