I doubt a cooling tower would just collapse, I mean come on, the nuclear plants are supposed to be able to defend against a terrorist attack.

The collapse of a cooling tower would not cause a radiation leak. The cooling tower does not handle anything radioactive. The primary cooling loop is completely seperate from the one inside the reactor.

@billyfrmhill totally agree a cooling tower has nothing radioactive in it , even if it landed on a reactor building it would cause damage but the chances it would not damage the reactor core because they are encased in reinforced concrete which is designed to withstand aircraft attack , hurricanes,tornado's and earthquakes and much more.

@Ifrink0 Flood waters have washed out the cooling tower, causing it to collapse. Radioactive steam leaks out and is drifting towards Frankfurt on the wind.

@EmergencyPlanet Radioactive steam, thats the best the game disigners could come up with. geez, I was just thinking about that if the cooling tower colapsed, the main nuclear core could go critical, causing a complete meltdown if not dealt with. and how in the hell are emergancy workers supposed to stop radioactive steam.
