Part 1:

(Big Bird is looking at the picture of Mr. Hooper)

BIG BIRD: I still miss you Mr. L-uh, Hooper.

(Abby appears.)

ABBY: Oh, hi, Big Bird.

BIG BIRD: Hi, Abby.

[DELIVEREE]

Part 2:

ABBY: Um, what's that picture over there?

BIG BIRD: You mean this? The one I drew?

(Abby nods)

BIG BIRD: Oh, that's a picture of a very special friend of mine. His name is Mr. Hooper. He used to own Hooper's store.

ABBY: Mr. Hooper? Hooper's Store? I thought Alan was always the owner of Hooper's Store.

[DELIVEREE]

Part 3:

BIG BIRD: Oh no, Abby. You see, he-he... Ohh.

ABBY: What's wrong?

BIG BIRD: I can't say it.

ABBY: Why not?

BIG BIRD: You seem to be too young to learn about death.

ABBY: Death?! Mr. Hooper died? Oh, I wish I see him too.

BIG BIRD: Yeah, he was very special.

ABBY: Can you please tell me about him?

BIG BIRD: Oh certainly. It's good to learn old friends.

(Big Bird clears his throat.)

BIG BIRD: He owned Hooper's Store. I used to forget his name, like Looper, Cooper...

(flashback of Big Bird forgetting Mr. Hooper's name)

BIG BIRD: He never got angry about it.

ABBY: Good. I don't like anger too much.

(Cut to flashback of Hooper giving Big Bird a birdseed milkshake)

BIG BIRD: He makes the best birdseed milkshakes ever.

ABBY: That's so magic!

Part 5:

BIG BIRD: I meant "Made", since he's gone now. (chuckles)

ABBY: It makes me sad when someone very special.. uh, dies.

BIG BIRD: And he even showed me a scrap book of when he was as little as I am.

(Flashback of Mr. Hooper singing about when he was as little as Big Bird.)

BIG BIRD: I don't think any 3-year old friends, like you, Zoe, and Elmo, know much how Sesame Street used to be.

ABBY: No...

(Back to Abby And Big Bird)

Part 6:

BIG BIRD: You know you can't bring this picture to life, Abby. I wish you could see him. I doubt your magic word "Allere-ri-rem-ni.."

ABBY: "Allerednic"?

BIG BIRD: That's right. You're too young of a fairy to know that much of magic."

MR. HOOPER (animated while in the picture): Did somebody say "fairy"?

BIG BIRD: Mr Hooper?! You're supposed to be dead.

Part 7:

MR. HOOPER: I AM dead. You drew me in this picture, and... (looks at Abby) Oh! A new friend, eh?

ABBY: That's right, Mr. Hooper. My name is Abby Cadabby. I'm 3 years old.

MR. HOOPER: Ooh, I've never seen such a cute girl like you. Wings, pretty clothes, adorable freckles.. and sparkly hair. I wish I could live to see you.

ABBY: Um, yes. I wish you could make me some.. Lemon Milkshake, I had some before.

MR. HOOPER: Really?

ABBY: Yeah, it was tasty.

[DELIVEREE]

Part 8: MR. HOOPER: You know what, Abby? ABBY: Yes? MR. HOOPER: I can make Lemon Milkshake for you. ABBY: REally? MR. HOOPER: Yes, watch. (Mr. Hooper makes magic to give Abby Lemon Milkshake.) ABBY: Wow! That's REALLY magic! MR. HOOPER: Thank you. (Abby takes a sip of the milkshake) ABBY: Oooh! That's the best. Thanks, Mr. Hooper. MR. HOOPER: Good to be of service. ABBY: Anyway I have to go now. Bye-Bye, Mr Hooper. Bye-Bye, Big Bird.

BIG BIRD: I wa-- Oh, That was Mr. Hooper. He's dead and he couldn't see you. And it was hard to say good-bye to him. SNUFFY: He's seen me once. BIG BIRD: What??
