I went to Gilneas with my Orc but saw NOBODY! The whole area of Gilneas was abandoned. Is that a glitch or something or does it really happen? o.o

@apoctriforce Did you never do the Worgen starting zone? The King and the majority of the population, (Including the Worgen Players), fled the city. There is, however, a quest chain from Silverpine Forest that involves you going into Gilneas and the story picks up from after the Worgen players have left.

@Zachattack172 Well, I dont have Cataclysm yet, I have Burning Crusade, soon I'll be upgrading after Outland. But are there some Horde Quests that involve going to Gilneas and fighting the Worgen? Or what happens to the Worgen after they leave? Do they go to one of the Alliance Race's places? I really want to do some quests there, I was hoping there'd be some quests given by Sylvanas Windrunner to go fight the Worgen. Please help me on this =/

@Lakiznacicar ...First of all, are you running the official retail realm?

If so, just go to Battle.net and upgrade. If you have your key, you can pretty much just download through the Upgrade and then upgrading your Account to Cataclysm. If you don't have a gamekey, then don't bother downloading. Everything you can have as of now without Cataclysm is added automatically (new character models, areas and such).

If you're NOT running the official retail realms, then you're pretty much fucked.
