I used to be in the Atlanta Boy Choir. I actually was training to go to Russia with this group, but it turned out I couldn't go. At 49 seconds if you look on the third row, you will see an empty space. I would've been standing there.
I just got accepted into the Atlanta Boys Choir (touring choir) and it is a great experience. We are going to Italy this summer, and hope tp play for the Pope again!
I must admit I didn't like the sound of the tenors very much (too loud in the piano, and a bit bland and too 'direct' in general), but this performance is magnificent. There is something very special about it.
I used to sing with this group from 85 to 91. It's changed so much. There were so many more of us. We used to wear the cardinal red robes. I'm glad to see the group making a comeback.
Hey, again! Heh again with the great recording. Anyway I am from the choir and I think alot of my friends in the choir think that this song is one of their favorites of all time!
