It's interesting, because he's knocking Clyde for not having a 48 inch vertical, then the other guy says "No problem for Jordan or Dominique." Um, okay. I know MJ supposedly had a 48 inch vertical, but it was more like 45. Nique had a 40 inch vert. Clyde was right there as well. So . . .I don't know what his point was.

Jordan is imo the greatest player of all time, but Clyde was another guy who could do it all, solid at 3's along with driving to the basket, and he played solid defense, he gets underrated because he played with Jordan, but he is probably the 2nd or 3rd greatest 2 guard of his time.

These commentators don't know what they're talking about. Neither MJ nor Dominique (nor Clyde) had a 48 inch vertical. I mean, seriously. MJ had about a 44 inch vert, Dominique about 39-40, and Clyde about 37-38. All very impressive, of course, but Dominique didn't get up that much higher than Clyde at his best.

But Clyde was never a contest dunker. Most of his best dunks were in games, and you never see them on highlight films anymore (like his famous lob dunk against LA in 92).

Clyde was never really a competition dunker. He excelled at being a game situation dunker. Whenever you need a thunderous dunk to lift up a team, there was none like Clyde The Glide. Ask MJ, some of Clyde's best dunks were during that 1992 Finals.

Thats wild considering clyde came into the NBA a few years before jordan. I think Clyde had his own game. Jordan and Clyde were influenced by Dr. J. Jordan's game (along with him being in a major media market also helped). How would have jordan fared had he been drafted by portland and clyde in a bigger media market like DC, NY, etc
