Why not compare Modern Warfare graphics to Bad Company 2 while you're at it? Explain to us why a game on the scale of BFBC2 w/ vehicles (helicopters,tanks, and ATVs) has different graphics to a game that is confined to smaller scale with no vehicles.

I know Red Dead is going to have more content, it's an open world game with multiplayer and this is a single-player thriller. However to me Red Dead just seems like GTA4 in the wild west, and I'm not big on the world being 2x the size of san andreas.

Red Dead will give you more for your money. I started playing Alan Wake last night and just beat it tonight. Its a short game. Excellent experience, but short. The bad thing (if you want to consider it a bad thing) is that I want to play another game like this now.

@brunobb1 Yes anti-aliasing has been around for a very long time, unified shaders is newer however and more impressive, AA is just a way of smoothing edges.
This game was awesome, very natural color palette and great atmosphere. Any video preview is just not the same as playing it for yourself, I recommend it to any gamer for is over 20 and doesn't have ADHD.

I think Uncharted 2 has the best graphics for any console game to date, yes the graphics for Alan Wake are stella, but compared to U2 there are great differences, I am still yet to play Alan Wake, but from what I have seen I think U2 has a graphical advantage, as for story and replayability I have to play it to really know what its like.

Why does everyone feel the need to argue consoles, hell I might as well join in. God of War rules and there's more to it than button-bashing I can attest to that. And If PS3 think they have an edge in the realms of technology then they're not thinking hard enough. Games matter, not consoles; though you cannot have one without the other. Plus, still ahead in the sales... except for Christmas (360)
Tell me who has the better exclusives, I think we know that it is the Xbox360, we just need to look at Mag major flop also White knight, Heavy rain did okay in reviews (just okay), compare that with the Mass Effect 2 overall score on game rankings 95%, and that's just the start of It for the 360, the Play station 3 may have more exclusive coming out this year but how many of them are going to be any good, If we go by whats already can out this year

As a hardcore gamer, gameplay and storylines are the most important.
Alan Wake has good gameplay and interesting story, I liked it . It has good graphics, but it just 3 place for me .
Still like the old arcades, Damn they are good, hardcore gameplay, graphics who cares.
By the way did you check Rocket Riot on XBLA , my brother developed it, (Codeglue), arcade , hardcore , addictive multiplayer upon 8 players online.
It's like bomberman, but better and more fun. It's a classic.

Never tried Crackdown 1, but Fable 3 is gonna be sick. Halo Reach may deliver the same Halo Experience Halo Combat Evolved gave me. Halo 2 was great, Halo 3 was a bit better, but not by a landfall. ODST was pure crap in my opinion. $60 dollars for a three hour game?

I got tired of having very little memory on my 20gig harddrive. I'm glad I got a 120gig now. Anyway, Alan Wake looks amazing, now, if only it wasn't rated T.

@DigitalVirtual Yeah but ODST also comes with the Halo 3 multiplayer, with all DLC maps included. And not to mention a ticket to the Halo Reach beta. 3 games for 60 dollars is not bad if you ask me.

I think the PS3 is pretty awesome, but some things:
Heavy Rain: Ppl say its just some button mashing and its pretty boring
MAG - Lots of players but nothing special and many people said it sucked
White Knight Chronicles - Simply ass

i don't think god of war 3 is shite, and i think heavy rain is quite a bore :). opinions. but i must say i think alan wake looks very promising. i think it's the exclusive the 360 needs to get back in the game. i hope it delivers.

@skibiskit ppl say uncharted 2 and most of the ps3 owners dont even know what game that is....btw, Ive played Uncharted 2, it was amazing but I dont see whats so breathtaking about the it...I mean, its a really great game but noot that special and the graphics, well, look at Alan Wake. Have you ever heard about unified shaders? and anti-alising? the 360 has it and look at AW, the graphics arent too diferent from Uncharted 2 as many people say

@brunobb1 Yes anti-aliasing has been around for a very long time, unified shaders is newer however and more impressive, AA is just a way of smoothing edges.

This game was awesome, very natural color palette and great atmosphere. Any video preview is just not the same as playing it for yourself, I recommend it to any gamer for is over 20 and doesn't have ADHD.

@brunobb1 i own both uncharted and uncharted 2...uncharted 2 is the best game ive ever played...the graphics are the best thing ive ever seen...the set pieces are ridiculously good especially in nepal...the character development is great...and story is pretty goddamn good apart from minor spills...so unless u took all this into account...i honestly cannot understand how u are saying its nothing special and is not breathtaking...

@brunobb1 Just to start i'm not a fanboy and i'm not here to argue. I think Uncharted 2 has the best graphics for any console game to date, yes the graphics for Alan Wake are stella, but compared to U2 there are great differences, I am still yet to play Alan Wake, but from what I have seen I think U2 has a graphical advantage, as for story and replayability I have to play it to really know what its like.

Why are Ps3 fan boys so defensive when you know Sony is losing the console wars & then they go and release 2 of the worst exclusives this console generation (MAG, WHITE KNIGHT) & yet you except it and you blame the reviewers who are just telling you the truth, how many more bad exclusives from Sony do you have put up with before you says that's enough, that's why I stick by Microsoft at least when they release exclusive on to the 360 they are always good, can't really think of any bad one's

You can call me a fan boy but it's only cause Sony has let me down with the Ps3, I had an original X box and a Ps2, and it was Ps2 all the way except for the Halo games, but this time round it's Microsoft that has got it right except RROD off course & Sony has taken a step backwards, when we all heard the that the 360 was getting FF13 & a Metal game I was in total shock, but I thought to myself what the fuck has Sony done to lose these and it won't be long before Uncharted arrives on the 360

Why does everyone feel the need to argue consoles, hell I might as well join in. God of War rules and there's more to it than button-bashing I can attest to that. And If PS3 think they have an edge in the realms of technology then they're not thinking hard enough. Games matter, not consoles; though you cannot have one without the other. Plus, still ahead in the sales... except for Christmas (360)

Tell me who has the better exclusives, I think we know that it is the Xbox360, we just need to look at Mag major flop also White knight, Heavy rain did okay in reviews (just okay), compare that with the Mass Effect 2 overall score on game rankings 95%, and that's just the start of It for the 360, the Play station 3 may have more exclusive coming out this year but how many of them are going to be any good, If we go by whats already can out this year
