And the amount of ammo you used, average 5 shots/rabbit haha, why dont you just use a 12 gauge and save ammo and not worry about the laser? @lucasmorter There are lots of places, none as plentiful as Eastern oregon near Burns or Christmas Valley. Just make sure you have the landowner's permission! Yes we took quite a jump off a dirt hill at the end, it was so dark and so many rabbits ahead of us we got excited and didn't see the hill! My father and I flew out of the bed and the driver launched through the front! Quite fun if I say so myself... and I still have the scar to show off! LOL
OK, no you cannot eat these diseased rabbits. Car lights aren't illegal for hunting varmints on private property in Oregon. The coyotes clean up our mess pretty well. Jacks here have population cycles, something like 7 years till they are very numerous then disease kills off most of the rabbits. Wait a few years and they come back in force! It may seem wasteful (verminting), but it usually has a purpose. I knew a guy in the boonies who had orange and other fruit crops, and he had to shoot the rabbits or they'd ruin his crops- those critters can cost big bucks if you let them eat and breed.

ha ha my bad. I noticed it a few seconds after I posted my question. I was just curious cause to me shooting anything in hat large of quantity for fun just seems wasteful. I'm a big time hunter myself but I usually eat what I kill. But if it's for pest control thats another issue, the fun just comes with it lol. There is a large coyote population here in eastern Oregon, they are usually gone within a day or two! You don't want to eat them as these jacks carry disease. Bummer but stll fun to shoot!

I agree and I live in Maine and there not all over the place up here. I love hunting them though its a winter thing up here. With dogs and a few buddies and a good .22 or .410 I would love to go hunt rabbits like that! We can only hunt Coyotes up here at night. There are a ton of those but not as thick as those rabbits in this Vid! AWESOME VIDEO!

the worst part is..i live in wisconsin
so you would think i could LIVE off of rabbits. but we just had a BIG flood come through
and i'm guessing it drowned out all the rabbit, chipmunk, and gopher holes because i havent seen a single one all summer
i've only seen 1 turkey but it was a small little guy so i just let him go
my dogs werent too happy though :)

I know for a fact they need to die because I live in eastern Oregon close to where this was filmed and have to exterminate many myself because they are over populated. They spread disease and destroy crops as well.

Respect the rabbits? are you crazy man? These guys are simply getting rid of pests, and if they have a little fun while doing it, big deal! The end result is the same..dead rabbits. They don't care if they were respected while being killed. What is a guy suppose to do when shooting rabbits? dig each one a grave and say a few good things about what a good little rabbit he was? maybe check to see if he/she was a organ doner? they're over populated diseased freaking rabbits for gods sake!

I love killing rabbits especially when I know I will never eat them.I like feeding the other more powerful animals that will gladly eat the rabbits that I shoot in the head.I like to think of it as my way of speeding up natural selection.I own 7 guns and plan on building a new one just to kill rabbits,and yes,with a laser stock.Oh ya lorenzoe69,the next time you plan on eating some sort of meat product you can tell yourself the animal didn't suffer if that will make you sleep betterATnight

i know how much fun it is, here in utah we can kill (relentlesly murder and slay) up to 40 or more rabbits an hour. yes, i leave mine were they drop or flop. if there is just so many of them, why not kill the so the the other animals can have somethig to eat. besides what has a rabbit done for YOU lately? besides easter..... i missed him this year... little fukker... but my aim is getting better.

It may seem wasteful (verminting), but it usually has a purpose. I knew a guy in the boonies who had orange and other fruit crops, and he had to shoot the rabbits or they'd ruin his crops- those critters can cost big bucks if you let them eat and breed.
My neighbor in the city has a rabbit that raids his front lawn. I just watch it and laugh :D

I don't believe it would work well in tree stand situations, though, that is if the rabbit can see the laser, which I assume that it can. It would spook them. But in a situation where you drive up in a truck, put the headlights on it, and go out after it, if that doesn't make it run away in terror (even if it does), then its awesome. It looks like a good product for certain situations, especially low light!

ha ha my bad. I noticed it a few seconds after I posted my question. I was just curious cause to me shooting anything in hat large of quantity for fun just seems wasteful. I'm a big time hunter myself but I usually eat what I kill. But if it's for pest control thats another issue, the fun just comes with it lol. Just glad to know they weren't being killed for no reason.

There is a large coyote population here in eastern Oregon, they are usually gone within a day or two! You don't want to eat them as these jacks carry disease. Bummer but stll fun to shoot!
