i have like manitechus travils 180 down hill fork will 20mm axle. love it. hard spring it it. 9 foot drops to flat no bottom out. but i am 135. lbs

i have 09 totem coil been sent of for warrenty overhaul after 1 week of owning got them back and tehy are meant to be perfect. They are good forks just small bump sensativity well there is hardly any they feel controled and dependable on harsh landings though boxxer im changinig to very soon though or maybe fox 40

Coils are the best option. The weight saving of the solo air is just not enough to sacrafice the plushness of the coil. And it's much cheaper and requires less maintainance.

i have the 08 coil got it new from ebay for 650 last summer and i just had it warranted they had a bad run on internals other than that i love the fork

there the same, fox gets more hype but don't really ride any nicer in reality, the 36 and 40s need constant maintenance too i hear
