lol too bad elias aint captain anymore. i was at the 25th aniversery game and he was with his body guards walking somewhere cuz he wasnt playing that game. my friend ran and said r u elias and he said no so guess he wasnt in the mood. i got daneyko and abelien's autographs. i was gunna get schwabs but i wasnt sure if it was him and didnt wanna look like an idiot.lol my friends asked the guy near him who said no but my bro said that their body guards arent allowed to say its them.

The guy just doesn't belong in the NHL. He must know someone very powerful in the NHL front office, because anyone else who sucks that bad would be playing men's league right now. Even when he played for the Devils (I'm a Devils fan) I would STILL prey that someone ends his "career". lol. He just sucks. Can't skate, can't shoot, can't fight....he's useless.

To make matters worse, Dowd is like the "pride and joy" of Brick, NJ. My girlfriend lives in Brick and everytime we go to eat at the Applebees there, as soon as I walk in the door, I see a fucking "shrine" dedicated to Jim Dowd on the fucking wall. The only think Jim Dowd is "doing right" to keep a spot in the league is blowing Bettman.

Oh give it a rest bro. The guy blows. Ever watch him skate? He's about as smooth as bigfoot on rollerblades. And as for him being a "veteran penalty killer", all I remember him being on the Devils was a healthy scratch every other game. lol. The only reason he was on that team was because he was a "local guy" and it was good for publicity and press. End of story.
