unlike this shitty wire thing that hes holding and that giant petrol guzzling motor attached to his foot...the ones that testteambot makes have the motor in the wheels and a cool wireless control panel attached to your wrist.
man this guy is taking all the fun outta shredding granted its a good idea and stuff but come on petrol if he wanted to propel himself with out using his legs i would suggest fireworks they are fast and fun but one slight problem they go boom when the thing runs out of gun powder and that hurts like alot
@Izzyrew because its FICTIONAL. plus, there is no such thing as micro-motor technology yet. if you want air gears, get a degree in transportation engineering and a few months in a bike shop. these are about just as good as it gets for 2010.
@akitoheart Actually the motor itself isn't that micro. its possible to create, but propably not with the force needed to go to the 45mph of the anime. It's basically just roller skates with 4 (2 per shoe) wheel hub motors. The bigger problem would be the energy supply, as we don't have batteries that could support 2 whm long enough and still fit in a roller skate (I think). And the air cushion system for high jumps is really somewhat unrealistic.
@Suthek cushion probably unrealistic energy supply i think just to be eco-friendly we should use I don't know like water? like using the steam and crap but all I know is that we have a energy crisis so we should be eco-friendly? maybe find someway to convert a week of charging At's with electricity and having them last for a month? I think that's reasonable but withe the motor inside i don't know haven't thought about it too much cuz of school
They will not legalise these blades, unfortunately Health and Safety in this country is ridiculously tight and stringent. If they do become legal I will buy a pair and travel round the centre of London on them with my ass hanging out. I will then upload the video onto YouTube and believe me that that is certainly a space you won't want to be watching. Good luck anyway.
