Ohh santorini I was stationed in Crete which is beautiful but I took my gf at the time to santorini and it was by far the mist beautiful place I have ever seen if you wish to go there save up and go it makes me smile each and everytime I think about it. Also if you want to see another beautiful island that's not far from it go to naxxos. Amazing

spectacular but not for mee... i love a greek island with olive and lemon groves, sandy beaches.... tropical trees..turtles... this is like a colony on a distant planet.. too volcanic and rocky... you can keep this...  yassou

@MrDennisCabilla It doesn't have trees because it's a volcanic island. Flowers and grass can't grow there. But it's beautiful island, the buildings make it nice, i've been in Oia 2 times.

Was there a few years back and long to return. This place is arguably the most beautiful place in the world and as breathtaking as any of these images may be they completely fall short of what it feels like to be there.

@juki150 Yees there are a lot. If you go to Kamari Beach you can see the planes landing 'over your head'. You have to see it. They face the Rock at the beach (this is one end of the island) and then they have to turn in a 'U curve' to get to the airport by this time they are landing already and will fly down veeery near to the beach. It is a wonderful experience.

@juki150 You can ride jet ski on this beach, have lunch and great!!! Thai Massage. Don't be afraid to ask the girls for thai massage, it is delicious! You can get there by bus in every 30 min or you better rent a car or a scooter. The whole Island is 45km at all, so you won't miss it. There are a lot of other Beaches like Red Beach, white Beach, Perissa, Perivolos and so on all of them are nice. You can take a round trip among them by small boats.

@juki150 You are going to love this place! And eat only Greek foods they are graet, and enjoy the sound of the wind in the night it's like real music. OMG I can't wait to get back there in the Summer.
