There seems to be some confusion on names here. My name is Jim and I set up the channel. Gary wrote the song. Jeff produced the video for a senior class project in 1972. It sat in the can for over 30 years until Jeff's son Evan edited the raw film to create this version in 2005.
OK - I'll bite. What do you mean by "cameo"? Most of the folks in the video were members of the band that created and performed the song. The extras were friends and workers at the local BK - which many of the band members worked at too.

I know it wasn't the dark ages but I I didn't think computerized registers were the norm back then! There pretty modern even now, but maybe thats just in australia where Im from.
it appears to have a digital display. But anyway this video is a fascinating time capsule. Interesting to see what the interior of Burger Kings looked like in 1972. For reasons I can't quite fathom I'm totally obsessed with the years 1972 & 1973.
I share your obsession with the early '70s, although mine stretched a bit further; from about 1971 to 1974. Perhaps it was the cars, the music, the fashion, the intrigue of Watergate, or perhaps all of it. But I love it!

If you look closely you will see it is not computerize. The keys are primarily mechanical with some minimal electronics.
