i have only spung flowpoi once and not for very long... but are the easier to do wraps with? i have the regular glow poi, the round ones and wraps dont work that great so i was just curious

have you tryed the butterfly weave, that move is so much fun when you first learn it....

i've got the 2 beat butterfly weave on loc. ha ha. the 3 beat butterfly weave is still a problem. i can do it kinda-but only in front which isn't visually good. any thoughts. i have a 3 beat butterfly vid up, please check it out and comment on what i can improve on to make it proper. please.

Has it been a few years already? Wow, I guess so. I don't get to spin very often anymore... actually, the above videos were a result of about a year straight of practicing every day... then I kind of stopped. But I still love going back to spinning whenever the mood / time is appropriate. Thanks!

@distopher1 Do you still spin in any festivals or something...? I just started glow-stinging but i used nun-chukkas a while ago so im quite good for a begginer, i think...and im also learning the shuffle ^_^...Odd you just stopped but im glad you still do it when your in the mood...and how did you get in a hospital or wherever you are, at this time XD...btw you are/where freaking awesome!!

Thanks very much! Maybe you can make your own LED poi if shipping is too expensive? Before I bought the flowtoys, I made my own and they turned out pretty nice. The song is by a group named "Delerium," and the track is "Truly" from their "Best of" album. You can get it on Amazon. It's a GREAT poi album.

Thanks! It was filmed on the first floor of an apt building. I liked the back-lighting but people walking around is bothersome. If you watch my Spin3 you'll see that I've covered up the hallway somewhat. Good luck, and have fun with your flowpoi. I love mine!

I spin poi now for about a week and I already can do some moves like windmill and fountain, I really want to have the flowpoi but I don't have that much money cuz i'm only 13 y/o =P

Keep spinning and you'll get better fast! I've only been spinning poi since December of 2006. Until you can afford some official flowtoys, you can make your own LED poi using a $2 LED "glow stick" from Wallgreen's (check their website). Just be sure to wrap it with bubble wrap... because the Wallgreen's "glow sticks" break really easily (buy extra). Also, they are not re-chargable and they aren't quite as bright as the flowtoys... bright enough to have fun, though. Be creative!
