There was no implication. The explanation was that if the judge were a Christian & he upheld Prop.8, then the proponents & advocates of gay marriage would have been crying "conflict of interest". However, although the case & issue are of great interest to homosexuals & the judge is a homosexual, suddenly the advocates of gay marriage don't see anything wrong with that

In this video, Boies was advocating "family values" in speaking about the wonderfulness of families with 2 moms or 2 dads.
