  • Servus is the first word you learn in bavaria :-)

  • Bavarian is no German

  • Who drove back after all that beer?

  • You're cute

  • Dude you are hilarious :)

Love your humor and our host family seems to be really nice!

  • I really want to go to Germany!! waahaha, and one way for that to be real is to be an exchange student.. soo I'll be applying for a scholarship next year :) and hopefully when I get there to Germany, I'll be visiting Munich too..

  • @TheGuinElla THAT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN ! :P

  • why arent you speaking german?

  • haha awesome.

i'm sort of doing a similar thing. though yours is much more interesting

  • I'm going to Germany next year for a youth exchange. I am soooooooo excited!!!! i don't know any german though except Wo ist der flughafen lol

  • jez hams uns nur 4 gebracht ^^

  • Marienplatz, Hofbräu Haus, best of Munich, the best place in Germany!!!!!!!

  • have you lived in austria or in germany? because your exchange parents sounds very austrian

  • I'm on exchange near Munich right now. Ich bin aus Canada.

I had the white sausage on my very first day, aha.

  • The exchange parents are nice - but: Why do you go on exchange to germany, if you're not able to speak at least a bit german? Isn't this supposed to help you learn the language? (I'm german, and I had been lost in the states without english...)

  • @QemeH

Doesn't matter if you go to Bavaria - they don't speak German either *lol*

  • @QemeH Us Americans will have at most 3-4 years of German before we go. Most have 1 or 2 years. I thinks its more about the experience of being in Germany.

  • @QemeH ja klar. ich versteh schon was du meinst.

  • hahaha :D

    im from munich (:

and its frauenkirche not marienkirche! :)

  • those parents seem cool

  • ah in the usa , so lousiana or missisippi or so. is always sun , i like that

  • I LOVE this.... :)

  • I'll go this year too

  • I have a friend who is an exchange student from Frankfurt. ^_^

  • Haha I actually think I can judge that better than u... There r some people who have an accent in Berlin-but these people r getting rare... Why can't I be proud about that? This is ridiculous...

  • Thats really cool. Im actually going to germany in a bit and this video has been great for me. Thanks! :)

  • @duchpb: I love being a bavarian german too! Ingolstadt is great! Love it :)

  • Döner > Weißwurst :D

  • i want to be an exchange student in Germany so bad

  • they should come to berlin! berlin is much cooooler xD and we speak german without any accent!

  • NEIN!!.. munich is the best... all of the bayern area!!.. I LOVE BEING A BAYER GERMAN.. born in ingolstadt.. raised in pfaffenhofen ♥

  • @Netsprecherin - also auf des "ohne Akzent" wuerd ich ja nicht grad stolz sein....

  • Of course u have an accent in berlin -.-*

  • I'm thinking about being an exchange student in Germany or England.

  • me too!

  • I'm going to be a foreign exchange student in Munich soon!

  • Bayern, des samma mia,

    Bayern und das bayrische Bier,

    Bayern und das Reinheitsgebot,

ja des is unser flüssiges Brot

    Oder so^^

  • lol nice video, almost got homesick :-)

i'm an exchange student from munich and live here in the states for a year.

by the way, it's "frauenkirche", not Marienkriche.

And where are the videos of the english garden? I spend every weekend there in the summer since it's 10 minutes from my house.

  • Very cool video! I'm planning a trip to Germany in August :)

  • your host papa speaks really good english! i suppose he had to learn it in school... i just hope i can get that good at german...

  • LOL Bavaria is the wrong place to learn german ! =)

  • naa bei uns Miiinga seits ia scho guad aufghoben ^^

just a joke. but actually, many bavarians speak good english.

  • I went to Bavaria Dec. 26 thru Jan.6 and it was the best time of my life, excluding the horrific serivice at London. Best beer I've ever drank, I drank Mostly Shneider Weisse but my fav. was Weizen...oh and the Bavarian White Sausage was not fun to eat after about 3 beers lol...but they were really good I have to admit. I believe I stood right in the same spot as you by the church..looks like the same angle...I love Bavaria...really wish I could go back

  • WEIßWURSCHT! :D

  • weißWURST*

  • I'm german and native speakers call is Weißwurscht ;-)

    It's an accent.

  • Neat video.

  • wasn't it hard to understand your hostparents especially with that german accent? It's still hard for some native Germans ^^

  • I'd LOVE to go to germany. i;m completely obsessed with it!

  • @speedn2007 ME TOO! haha i really want to go there
