it's not coranar but cormar, and the name of the poem in quenya is Linwë Cormaron Turinquë if i remember right ;) Sorry for the pedantry, but i thought it would be useful
@boydavido I didn't translate the english text, I had found it on an internet site. But I didn't know a single word in Quenya back then so I couldn't detect any mistakes xD thanks for telling me anyway! :)
@boydavido Me too ^_^ this summer I printed out a Quenya course I'd found on the internet and slowly read it through to the end :) do you know the site councilofelrond . com?
@boydavido Yep :) but a swedish accent would be really good too. Swedish has got a pitch accent and it's based on intonation like Quenya, but latin languages don't. Vowels are pretty easy to spell though. I don't know Dutch but I think that's a pretty good basis too! English is an outcast LOL
@boydavido Want a sample of dutch? Here it is. Ik vind Tolkien een mooie schrijver, en de films zijn erg mooi. You can translate it with google and the back again an you can hear it ;)
@arazona911 Ahah don't worry I too forgot to say hello XD nice to meet you too!! Sindarin is a little bit harder to pronounce but of course I can do it! Just tell me what I have to read :)
@arazona911 Yeah I know... I didn't understand Quenya much back then, giving an intonation to the sentences was hard! And this was my first try ever at reading it :)
@Arkxyz Well I am tunisian , that would make me able to distinguish between long and short vowels and pronounce nearly any consonant I think :\ but even your language can do that atleast when you don't encounter "ch"
@arazona911 yeah italian doesn't have ch and palatalized t sounds. I've been studying german and russian at school though and luckily I know how to make them :) I think the accent is the hardest part... Quenya has a pitch accent and it's totally different from italian's T.T
