i have seen the doc's and guess what the people booing him were not just united people they were the opposition supporters too. the reason for them was the frustration with the english team ronaldo became the scapegoat fot all english fans but the "united family" got over it in a few weeks. you can see in this clip that even after the talks of him leaving for real he got a generals applause when he came back. very special and loved players get a standing ovation when they are about to come on.
