    weird isnt it?

  • Comment removed

  • lmfao :P

  • Knowledge is every Irishmen thinking you're the greatest centre of all time, wisdom is knowing that the Irish have never won the world cup, beaten the all blacks and knowing they have achieved fuck all in international rugby which really undermines their assertion that this guy is anything other then average.

  • @accident111 ya always a wise ass like your self to leave a comment like that. He is acknowledged around the world as not only the best centre but one of the greatest players ever to have lived

If you believe your own answer you have (A) never watched rugby and know nothing about it or (B) you some cocky SH person who's got his head so far up some one like richy macaw's ass that every time you speak your spitting out his mouth. And can't accept that fact that there are better players out there

  • @xjxism Haha sorry I can't say that I fit into any of those categories, just really wanted to get a rise. Thanks for taking the bait. What I do know about rugby and sport in general is that you cannot make an assert such as the one that you have made, that is, BOD is the acknowledge as the best centre. Unfortunately this is not the case. Yes I would rate him in the top 20 Centres, but the greatest, you just cannot say that. Gerber,Gibson,Umaga,Little,Sella, equally if not better players.

  • @accident111 ya but even the best of that lot Umaga has not won a world cup so you can't really judge O drisscoll on achievement. Seeing as two HC Grand Slam and numerous triple crown seem to you to count for nothing.

As for just getting the rise that case i fell for it. But i was kind of hoping for an angrier response back

  • BEST QUOTE EVER!!!!

  • Ther Irish punch above their weight in many areas, not least in sport and wit.

  • @22grena fuck you.

  • @senatorwigglesworth Interesting reply. What do you mean?

  • @22grena strangely enough he is far more witty than you, simply going by the very easy observation you made which actually holds no logic, some of the best comedians in the world are irish, i just dont think you got what he was saying.

  • @liamevans1987 The first thing I would say is show what I wrote to a friend so they can explain it to you. Just in case you don't have any friends I will explain what it means. Punching above your weight means that although you are small you are able to take on bigger opponents (in terms of population in this case) and win. Ireland punches above its weight in sport and wit means Ireland produces proportionately more sporting and witty people than much larger countiries. An dtuigeann tú?

  • @22grena ah yeah misread what you said lol sorry about the misunderstanding it was early morning, things happen lol

  • @22grena fuck off.

  • seagulls follow the trawler ...

  • Back to new zealand for the worlds best centre the man a genius why else would you spear tackle him ? Why show a man your best dance before a game ( haka ) come on 2011

  • that is the best answer ever given at a press conference. hands down

  • I heard he said that for a bet amongst the team. You can see him laugh before reporter even asked the question. He was gonna give that answer to whatever question was asked. Be laughed then composes himself and says it. It's a joke amongst the team.

  • He smiles so weird haha

  • BOD is the possibly best centre in world rugby. Umaga is only a dirty scumbag who brought shame to the all blacks that day.

Yea rugby is a mans game, but intentionally setting out to injure is the act of a coward. And i know every "REAL" kiwi man on here will agree with that

  • haha what the hell his voice is real strange even though he is one of the best players ever

  • was this guy even a rubgy reporter? "whats his name...that english bloke......martin johnson" lol

  • Top 10 Centers of all time? In no order:

Gerber, Sella, Bunce, Little, Horan, BOD, Umaga, Gibbs, Herbert, Gibson.

  • bod is a good player i wish he played throughout the lions series because umaga's intentions was not to injure him and really i don't think it would have made a difference

  • @SuperJay2cool umaga didn't intend injuring bod? man that is bullshit. what umaga and mealamu did was one of the most calculated and cynicle moves ever seen in test match rugby. If they did not mean to injure him they would at least have made an effort to bring him to ground rather than landing him on his neck. the malice involved involved was shocking.

  • @munsterite3 i think your wrong by saying his intentions were to injure odriscoll or to take him out illegally. umaga and mealamu tried to clear out odriscoll at the ruck but accidentally dumped him on his head they did take it to far and should have been cited or sinbinned but that was it. Im curious to know though you think he would have made a difference?

  • @SuperJay2cool if you watch the video again you will see that the ball was well clear of the ruck by the time umaga and mealamu caught hold if o'driscoll. they could have let him go but chose to carry out a highly malicious dump which could have broken his neck. the fact that neither mealamu nor umaga were cited was incredible. if you did that out on the street you would do time. whether or not he would have made a difference to the outcome is entriely irrelevant.

  • @munsterite3 i dont think they knew that the ball had been cleared and just took notice at o'driscoll who was trying to infringe in the ruck in an intense game so they decided to try and tackle him off but he was holding on to someone else so they tipped him on the wrong side and odriscoll landed awkwardly which i don't believe were really their intentions and that happens in big games!!!

  • @SuperJay2cool Well I dunno what big games you watch, I've never seen two players spear someone off the ball like that. It was the single worst incident I have ever seen on a rugby pitch

  • @munsterite3 haha holy fuck you actually think umaga and mealamu were intentionally trying to injure BOD?? haha most calculated and cynicle move? so they knew BOD would be at a ruck where Umaga and Mealamu could execute there brilliant plan to take out an highly overated centre?? ..ok. Try watching some NZ, Australian or SA competion games, way out of BOD league, watching the english premiership matches or whatever its called is lame. reminds me of 1st XV rugby

  • @brownpooz ur a retard ! clearly umaga and mealamu did on purpose

  • @XxPADDYBOYNIGGAxX haha ok? care to back that up with some cold hard evidence? no? nothing? well then shut your mouth and know your role hahahahahahahaha bloody hell this makes me laugh.

  • @brownpooz here some evidence

the ball was cleared from the ruck, and umaga and mealumu could of just let him go but clearly umaga was intimitated by the best centre in the world and decided to ruthlessy turn him and dump him on his neck.

aswell even umaga doesnt even hace the decency to own up to it and admit that there was malice in it.

tat sickens me from a once all blacks captain.

  • @XxPADDYBOYNIGGAxX mate if you can get an interview with Umaga cleary saying he did it on purpose then il accept that, other than that youve got no proof.

  • @brownpooz thats the point!!!

umaga does not have the balls to admit to it so therefore lied and came up witt some bs by saying "these things happen in rugby" which is basically a load of rubbish

you see umaga is too much of a coward to own up to the tackle he decides to lie ON T.V

obviously hes too much of a cunt to come out and say he did it intentionally. So its impossible to get a video of him saying it but its so blatantly obvious that he tried to injure him RETARD...

  • @XxPADDYBOYNIGGAxX mate all i hear is whining and crying from you, truth is shit happens in rugby that you cant control, i know because i play, and by the sounds of your crying you sound like a little bitch talking hard behind a laptop that only watches the action and thinks he knows first hand what happens in a game just by analysing from the sideline. By the way, still no proof lol. Well thats all from me, thanks for the exciting arguement, maybe we'll meet on another video.

  • @brownpooz whining and crying??

all i did was respond to ur bullshit comment bou umagas tackle on o'driscoll.from what u said u sound like some fat bastard he warms the bench on a sunday morning for some division 3 team.u clearly have no clue and dont understand the difference between accidents and intentionally trying to injure another player.look ur missing the point bou gettinn proof, the reason i(or no one)can get proof is because umaga is too much of a coward to admit it,tats the point!!!

  • Overrated my arse!

South Africans, New Zelanders and Australians just don't like giving credit to Northern Hemisphere players. And I do know that those three teams have pretty much controlled world rugby for a long time but you'd be hard pressed to find a rugby fan from one of those countries complimenting a northern hemisphere player anywhere on youtube. You'd all try and convince me Serge Blanco was shit given the chance...

  • @MilesG102 Serge Blanco is shit haha

  • I am stealing that line

  • What does the interviewer ask him? I can't hear what he's saying. Is BOD refering to a player as a tomato?

  • Comment removed

  • odriscoll had a cry and needs to harden up. wow wee he is higest try scorer in a competition where you play italy and scotland. last time i looked all blacks put about 70 points on them. so wake up you fools and admit your great leader is a pooff. sean fitzpatrick and richie mccaw would just take their beating and move on not cry about it to the media. booo hooo

  • Comment removed

  • odriscol is a wimp plain and simple and to all you northern hemisphere idiots listen up and understand my arguiment properly you incoherent muppets. Why did ofaggypants think umanga speared him on purpose? do you really think he was scared of him and wanted him out of the tour? ireland have never beaten the all blacks ever he wont make a difference. umanga before this had never been binned let alone sent off in a test before or any provincial game. so why all of a sudden would he bcome dirty

  • Comment removed

  • @keithconron your the jackarse KEITH. the man that resorts to personal attacks behind his computer because he dosen't have the knowledge or foresight to form a proper argument. what a winner!

  • @awatoto was the comment you left on my profile not some form of personal attack? leaving comments on these videos is all about personall opinion dude, try and understand this, others not agreeing with you is bound to happen, if your going to insult people for not agreeing with you then expect to be insulted in return. Anyway, you do know the whole reason behind Brian o'Driscol's little speech here?? The reason why most current Irish players/fans have no respect for martin johnson?

  • O'driscal u fucking legend :D

  • Not quite at Cantona level but still excellent.

  • best technical centre everrr

  • what a legend. his face afterwards is the best

  • no, i don't know. far less do i care. i could speculate or google it, but i couldn't be assed

  • haha thats brilliant !

  • It was in the book after they won the grand slam. On e of the backroom staff did this thought of the day thing and the players thought this was so funny that they bet BOD that he wouldnt have the balls to say it in the press conference! It makes no sense in this context but still is fucking hilarious !

  • @TheBlackcat239

First. It was during the 6 nations the press conference before d 3rd game. not after they won it.

Second. it had nothing to do with any book... where the hell did you get that from.

Third. it makes PERFECT sense in this context as it was a jibe at the RFU of england choosing an unqualified manager for there national team hence Knowledge Vs Wisdom

Last. Yes i believe it was a bet. The irish and particularly the Leinster players do that alot for the craic when being interviewed

  • An unfunny line made less funny by the dickhead that said it !

  • @dapkam1 And why is he a dickhead????

  • @F10ert because he probably scored too many times on that poor guy's favorite team

  • @irishguy1916 get back to fighting for the rights to your caravan, you pikey

  • legend

  • @mustainrulesxx all people in ireland are pikeys anyway

  • @JayJb8 Hahaha! your a Fag!

  • @nickojb7 umaga is a dirty little bitch, incapable of playing rugby that comes close to BODs game

  • Comment removed

  • @MrHiimdarragh that's a big call, Umaga was a class player. I know your still hurting about BOD getting dropped on his shoulder 5 years ago, but it's time to move on.

  • @MrHiimdarragh Bull shit BODs long gone never be the player that Tana was

  • @MrHiimdarragh shut up .

  • @imd99 faggot

  • @imd99 he is every bit as good as o driscoll , he wouldnt have been the all black captain had he not bein a good leader and a good player , as far as the spear tackle goe's people make desicons on the field ,sometimes right sumtimes wrong ,in umaga's case it was wrong but that is not no need to take away from how a great a player he is , im sure you've made desicons in life which lead to someelse eing hurt or offened , p.s , watch it again it was actually mealamu who did the damage.

  • @imd99

What Umaga did was a complete disgrace!!! He can never take back, what he did to BÒD, he destroyed his dreams, and that was the end of it! So you can say what you want, cover it up for all I care. But I think you`ll find that most ppl on this page, will not agree with you!

  • @xxPanteraxxx yes ovbisly because , lets be honest we are all irish true and true but still no reason to still go on about it ? wallace got injured the other day ..or you going to keep on about that ? things happen in life some people just have bad luck somedays

  • Haha love this!!!! I think it was for a bet though!!:D

  • Bod is twice the player and twice the man that Umaga is!!!

  • @rowler21 their both Legends of their own countries. Stop crying you sook, it was 5 years ago!

  • @nickojb7 So what if i hold a grudge against Umaga, who likes seeing their captain bulldozed to the ground in a dirty tackle and nearly killed!!!! Ya wouldn't see BOD doin that hence Twice the MAN!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @rowler21 You have no clue, in 03 it was Umaga that rolled Colin Charvis on his side after being knocked out to prevent him from swallowing his mouth guard. Never seen BOD do that, Umaga = LEGEND.

  • declan kidneys face ahahahaha

  • LOL at the umaga haters.

  • I'm English and O'Driscoll, along with Tim Horan, is one of the top 2 centres of all time. I'd say that Guscott, Sella and Bunce are the others to make up the top 5. Umaga is not even in the top10 , and yes i have seen him play...

  • @budwhite1 i'm sorry your opinion matters so much. if you say it it must be true. guscott. haha

  • @awatoto

they are the best 5 centres so far, Guscott walks into that group easily, though O'Driscoll and Horan are the top 2, in what order, is a matter of opinion ...

  • @budwhite1 "Umaga is not even in the top10" stop kissing irish arse!!!! name ten centres better then.........

  • @otumoetaipat Better than Umaga ? ok 1 Brian O'Driscoll 2 Tim Horan 3 Phillippe Sella 4 Jerry Guscott 5 Frank Bunce 6 Conrad Smith 7 Jason Little 8 Scott Gibbs 9 Walter Little 10 Yannick Yauzion and i ould name more, there have been far better centres than Umaga
  • @budwhite1 hahaha are you kidding? scott gibbs? walter little and bunce? jason little was average also.

  • @budwhite1

So true :D At least your a mature rugby fan, and I have all respect for you sir ^_^

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Hilarious

  • @dgla01 ur a knobhead,

  • I wonder had he planned this sound bite to use... still friggin world class player

  • Genius!

  • greatest all round rugby player ever

  • umaga is better

  • @JoeRUGBY10 Are you fucking serious ? Umaga is just a guy that runs fast with ball at hand. O'Driscoll is a rugby genius with some of the best hands the game has ever seen. The best player in the world at intercepting a pass by a long way and consitantly pulls Ireland out of sticky situations. He is a natural leader and inspires his team to play. Involved in every Irish attack. Umaga is'nt even a full time 13, there is no comparison. I wouldnt have umaga in my top 5 inside centers.

  • @Mesojonistic take it you didnt see his 30 metre pass while sprinting to sivivatu during the 2005 lions tour ? umaga is a natural leader he captained the all blacks !! tana has 74 caps and 36 tries odriscoll 109 caps 40 tries that shows who is the most prolific try scorer tana by a mile. you say he isnt a full time 13 ( most of his all b's caps are at 13 ) yet u wouldnt have him in your top 5 inside centres well drrrrr he's not a 12 ! all blacks >>>>>>>>> ireland.

  • @JoeRUGBY10

You just stated that BOD has scored more but played many more matches but i think people could question your figures mate. 109 test caps for o´driscoll ???

Where did that come from? has he had a few secret ones we dont know about? Last time i checked it was 103,

Also and this should not ever be forgotten. BOD played almost all of those tests in a team that does not and could not hold a candle to the mighty AB´s

Yet he has still managed to do the things he has done.

  • @79lion79 lions caps are counted as international caps so question away ! umaga played in the tri nations SA & AUS >>>>>>> italy scotland wales england and france, if your comparing regular comp.

  • @JoeRUGBY10

Joe lions are not counted as international caps. BOD has 103 international caps for his country and 40 tries ireland HIS COUNTRY. that is NOT including.... i repeat not including his appearances and tries scored for the lions.

Would u like me to repeat that again?

Tell me this. How would you rate irland as a rugby team. honest answer. Good Bad Average? How would u rate them against the AB´s?

Personally im in aww of the AB´s and how good they are, and a little jealous TBH

  • @79lion79 ill think you will find that lions caps are classed as international test caps ! not ireland caps but they are still international test caps, just like pacific island caps are classed the same. Good recently won the 6 nations but not as good as new zealand, which makes you think about competition for places, which is alot more fearce for the AB'S then Ireland. BODs not really had anyone pushing him for his place he's a great player he wouldnt of won 100+ caps if he was a new zealander

  • @JoeRUGBY10

if his lions appearances are counted then you boys better starting adding to his try tally. you say its 40... thats just for ireland... Mind you i think he has only scored one with the lions correct me if im wrong.

doubtful he would have got 100 caps for NZ, with the amount of injuries he has suffered im surprised he made it to 100 wiht us o_O

Lets face it tho, The ABs are world class from 1 to 15.

BOD has done all this alone with maybe 2 other top end players in his team.

  • @79lion79 yeah only 1 try for the lions, BOD might of been even better if he went down under the free flowing super 14 would of suited him better then the forward dominated north, but playing with ireland might make him look better then he is, if he was an all black he'd be good but not one of the main men.

  • @JoeRUGBY10

some of the irish pundits have suggested exactly that. Had he left leinster and played abroad for a couple of years he would have been even better. Suggestion is that if he had gone to france he would not have been injured so much because they mind there top players, and if he had gone south he would have gotten better for the experience

but hypothetical stuff like this never goes anywhere to be honest.

realistically he is going down as one of the all time greats. no doubt about it

  • @JoeRUGBY10 yes the AB's are the best team in the world but its not like they are light years ahead of other teams.if BOD were an AB he would definatly start for them and he definatly would be one of their main men because he is the best outside centre in the world probably one of the best players in the world also in rugby as a centre playing with a poor team will not make you look good as you wont get enough ball in a match from your forwards to do anything with

  • @Bigglesworth93 Conrad Smith has overtaken BOD now, IMO. BOD has been a brilliant player but his best days are behind him.

  • @JoeRUGBY10 watch?v=UQ5aqy4bHAQ&feature=related ..........nuff said.

  • I'm English and a huge rugby fan, and can i just say that Brian O'Driscoll is one of the Rolls Royce's of centres along with Tim Horan, Phillippe Sella, Jeremy Gucott, Frank Bunce and Yannick Yauzion.

Truly brilliant player that i wish was English, but then he probably wouldn't be the same amazing player.

He's in my All Time World XV at 13 with Tim Horan at 12 :D

  • Comment removed

  • Bod. Is without doubt the best rugby player of the last ten year. . I guess greatness. Has its downfall. I see the jealousy computer press press buttons are at it again. Get a fucken life and respect a great rugby player

  • hahaha umaga that thug being better than bod

  • The greatest ever Irish sportsman.

  • Odriscol basically lost all credibility when he cried like a baby after umanga tackled him. what a poof he should of handled it and moved on but he carried it on for ages. What a wanker, harden up!

  • @awatoto your a faggot

  • @iwfeva92 good come back. tomato can lover. odriscol is a fag not me. by the way have ireland ever beaten the all blacks? i'll answer it for you NO. country is full of useless pastey white fat guys

  • @awatoto

has your mum sucked down tons of maori cock juice ? ill answer that for you.. YES

  • @drunk2thepowerofsick don't place your sexual fetish fantasys my way. do youi know what you are doing reight now? its called projection. It is when people place their own fears and desires on someone else because they are ashamed of themselves. So What your saying is you have smoked a lot of maori cock.I feel sorry for you and your pathetic useless country.Have you guys ever won any significant sporting titles? No you even get invaded by the english and can't defend your own pissant country

  • @awatoto

I have not read the other comment and i wont, but just want to say that this guy does not represent Ireland. drunk2thepowerofsick is a troller who goes from vid to vid always causing arguments.

Dont let yourself get drawn in by him. Don´t matter what country a person is from. you cant keep the idiots off youtube. infact its the perfect place to find them.

As for the comment about England invading Ireland... Stones in glass houses comes to mind my friend. Peace

  • @79lion79 OK fair enough well said. but i'm a good thrower

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @awatoto

Well fair play. i tell you what u should do. wrap up a stone in one of the lovely $1 notes you have over there.

You know the one with the queens head on it... ye you know or even in that pretty little flag with the union jack on it... Well

You wrap that stone up good and tight and you throw it as best you can in side your glass house.

We free irish will spend our own currency on a beer and savor every last free tasting drop of it.

    Peace out mate

  • @79lion79 WE don't have dollar bills, you should travel more.Last time i was in Ireland i bet about 15 Irish man a beer each that the all blacks would win and do you know what happened before the final whistle when they bought johan on and he sliced through the weak odriscol defence? They all got up and walked out. What you guys run out of gold at the end of your rainbows?Do you not count Nth Ireland?Oh well at least you got gaelic football.Oh hang on didn't australia beat you guys at that?

  • @awatoto

Ye the Revised rules series is interesting and ye the aussies have beaten us not that i care really.

Funny story bout that bet but you know if you read back over it sounds completely made up. U know what i mean, sort of trying to hard there and it failed badly

Ye we have come so close many times to breaking that awful record against the AB´s only to be denied. Shit tho, the AB´s are scary good. And im mean that. We will get you eventually. and i say that sober o_O

  • @awatoto You are 34 years old and commenting on youtube clips abusing a player and the people of the country he's from, you're life must be awesome.... O' driscoll is 32 years old, is the highest try scorer in the six nations, captain of his country and has captained a lions tour and Leinster along with loads of other shit i wont mention. Winning!

  • @teasey21 hey butter-iner. go back and read my comment from nine months ago. i stand by that still and read the new ones. come up with a comprehensible argument

  • @awatoto 9 MONTHS AGO!!!! Build a bridge mate, get over it. Good boy

  • @awatoto you are a typical ignorant new zealand prick, think before you say something as stupid as the shit you said on this video, if you hate ireland so much why are you even watching this video ? for fuck sake half the all blacks are from the islands and not new zealand ,

now go dry your eyes on your preaty flag with the union jack on it prick

  • @awatoto you have got to be one of the most stupidest people to leave a comment anywhere on you tube

  • @awatoto just reading through all these comments and came across yours. the irony in what you say is rather funny. ever wonder why the union jack is on your flag? xenophobia is lost on you.

  • @1983honey I dont wonder why its there, I know why its there..... Do you??

  • @awatoto lad, why are you so angry? i have absolutely no idea what you're on about. my point isn't about very talented rugby players like o'driscoll n umanga. its your hatred of ireland. 1 of the most universally liked peoples in the world. yes, the english invaded ireland and the people rejected them. the english invaded new zealand too. if you had of defended your own country, why would there be a union jack on your flag?

  • Wate of time comparing Umaga to O'driscoll. Both different players. O'driscoll would make the All Blacks if he was Kiwi as would Umaga would be picked to play for the Irish if he was Irish. People who think Umaga is a thug need to grow up. Accidents happen in rugby and they always will. O'driscoll is not saint himself and always in amongst a shoving match. One thing that brings to mind that really seperates these 2 players is that O'driscoll is a cry baby and Umaga is not

  • @damnimage a. umagas spear was not an accident b.shoving is different than spear tackling c. his shoulder was dislocated i'd like to see you get up after that

altho agreed both good players-people shud move on

  • @JonnRooney

It wasnt just Umaga that lifted Brian, Mealamu lifted the other leg as well so you you cant really spear someone by lifting one leg, you have to lift both, which Umaga did not do. I agree it was reckless from both players but the Tackle from Umaga was not to hurt anyone. Its not nice to have a Dislocated shoulder and i didnt say i would get up either but when the Umaga went to apologise not once but plenty of times, Brian pushed him away and carried on his crying to the media.

  • that sums up his career!!

  • What did Declan Kidney whisper at the end, Donnacha?? Wasn't it DOC that told BOD that one? I think I read that somewhere.

  • @damnnargles he said good answer

  • @damnnargles Apparently it was a dare from some members of the squad if he could say it in a press conference, and that the quote itself originated from one of the fitness coaches (or something of that nature, kit manager maybe) who said it quite often!

  • good player but also a wanker

  • What did he say, wilson something?

  • Jauzion best centre ever

  • i love the way he nearly laughs and then stops himself at the start. thats the point he realises he's going to say it!!!

  • O'Driscoll is a world class centre but also a great leader and sports personality as well

  • @ karlitob1983

Didn't mean to shock you but if 1983 is your year of birth then you've been on this planet at least ,half the time I have... I went to schools on the north side of Dublin and rugby was never played at these schools circa '60 to ' 70's... Gaelige hurling soccer, no rugby!!

I think what you say might be true of Limerick but not Dublin an with Leinster replacing munster as the power house of Irish rugby my theory might be something you'll just have to accept!!

  • Nice one!! We'll do England, no doubt!!..,

  • @bhtumai Ye the All Blacks will probably hammer us,but rugby is only the 4th most played sport in ireland none really cares that much,

  • you dont have a brain

  • you dont have a decent rugby team

  • ur living in the past. how many years ago has umaga stopped playing for nz.,..5 years now, is it?

  • yes i agree. i was just merely pointing out to this guy that umaga isnt playing anymore and he should be making his point with a current player(like smith) but o'driscoll's technical game is top class

  • @JPMeakO Living int he past huh? Jaque foruie is the new o driscoll :)

  • theyre both great centres but theyre are 2 different centres... fourie is the more aggresive powerhouse centre o'driscoll is the more playmaking technical 1... both great cenres u cant deni

  • Hands up mate.. Beaten by a very good French side who seem to be headin in the right direction for 2011!

The problem for the French is they don't travel well an could be their downfall.. I know nz beat them in warm up friendlys but after all they're friendlys an French have hit the ground runnin!!

  • France do have a very good team, they beat us over here last season...mind you we had no Carter, McCaw or Conrad Smith, plus a few other new players on debut. Come RWC time I think we play them in pool play so we dont have to see them in a 1/4 or semi thank goodness....i dont think I could handle losing to the French in another World Cup again. good luck for the remaining games....just dont lose to the bloody English!

  • Nice one cheoo7Lo!!

  • @evkrusty

    It was munster!!!

Top of the mornin to ya !!

  • top of the morning to you too. What happened against France?

  • @evkrusty

We've been beaten by the all blacks every time we've played them and as a kid I marvelled at them.. Rugby in Ireland was always an eletetist sport but in recent years with it becoming more professional is open to the ordinary bloke on the street... We always died in the last 20 mins v nz.. Not any more! Let's see how things go.

Do you know the only provincial side that beat youse in late 70's??

  • @dublincraic it aint an elitist sport in Limerick. I'm always shocked to hear people say that - its just not the game I know. I'm glad everyone sees it for the game it is now.

  • @ evkrusty

Ireland beat the world champions(not nz who where given a good hammerin' in world cup by a northern hemisphere team, France) only a couple if months ago!! Don't be such a tosser you retard!!

  • facts are facts Brian ODriscoll is a great Irish player...a good international player but barely worthy to lace up Umaga's boots. Umaga accomplished way more against better opposition

Grandslam?? pfft easy. Face it, Ireland were only unbeaten cos you didnt play the All Blacks....BOD came down here last year and Conrad Smith owned him. BTW I love how the Irish bag the ABs for choking in world cups when they havent even made a semifinal. clowns!!

  • that's a load of nonesense.

As to Ireland not making the semi-finals, Rugby is not our national sport, however for 2011 Ireland will underachieve if they don't make the semi-finals and so will New Zealand if they fail to win the world cup.
