No offence but Siobahn is way better off in a group or duet. She should have stuck with Bananarama or with the very talented Marcella. Shes really not that good solo. She is hot though...... She left Bananarama beleiving she was too good for them then she got with Marcella afterward but she got rid of Marcy over jealousy. I love Siobahn but she needs an additude change.

Siobhan/Shakespears Sister = brilliant!

Ive been a bananarama fan for over 20 years now... i flew to London for the 20th anniversary ( i live in toronto) when Siobhan left i was soooo sad... however Shakes. S is a brilliant group. I was never into the Banshees until recently and i realized that Siobhan must be a HUGE fan of hers cause she really does sound like her.... anyhow to answer Paulosoy if you listen carefully to Banana's tracks Shuv is always the one singing quite low....

Well, this was the first single and video from Shakespears Sister, so it was the first release from Siobhan since leaving Bananarama. Shakespears was Siobhan's baby, her project, and originally Marcella was backing vocalist and played on some of the Sacred Heart album. This video, and early interviews, I believe, were just Siobhan. IMO it was important to her to show it was her project. Of course Marcy was in the other videos and by Hormonally Yours, Siobhan gave Marcy equal percentages.

Oh yeah, and the video for Heroine, which Siobhan funded herself, did not have Marcy in it. Siobhan loved the song dearly and wanted it to be the first single, but apparently London Records didn't agree.

Her voice solo, reminds me to Siouxie and The Banshees. When I hear Bananarama songs I cant figure out her voice, she sounds really different here.

This entire album was ahead of its time. It came out in 1989, and it still is much more current than a lot of music we hear to day! Good Job Shakespears Sister

I like the song and the show going on there..however, her catsuit looked way better than this outfit.

Absolutely adore this tune. It is so brilliant. A good move she left bananarama, bananarama were brilliant but around this time the music got a little sloppy and this was dance music with a twist.
