There's no difference in force for a plane to strike the tower than there would be if the tower were wielded like a bat by a giant and he swatted a plane at 550 miles an hour. You appreciate, of course, that a plane is a thin hollow aluminum tube and the tower is double reinforced heavy steel and concrete mesh.
