  • did you ever get the plymouth at the car lot?

  • Sounds like a screamin deal on that Plymouth near you. Hope you get it, it's always cool to get something you dream of.

  • you fooled me lol

  • I was lead to believe that this was a real, full sized Fury. You took 9 minutes and 51 seconds from my life and I want it back! Nice job on the model, though....

  • I'd love to know why anyone would think Christine is a Fury. Stephen King has no idea, that's for sure. In the novel, Christine is described as having four doors..which Fury's NEVER had, and the cars used in the film are obviously two door Belvederes. All Fury's had gold annodising on the grill and trim. Belvedere's and Fury's were VERY easy to tell apart!!

  • @Kaffyboy I don't know whether it was because John Carpenter thought a Fury would look better on film, but the book even says it's a 4-door Belvedere. I don't know Plymouths well enough to know the exact differences, but I do know that a Fury is a lot flashier than a Belvedere. The only gold anodising I remember on the movie car is a gold chevron on the grille. Also, wasn't it that Furies had an extra pair of headlights? All easy items to "fake."

  • The cars in the movie are furies. you can tell from the bumper. and the reason why people think christine is a fury is because in the book it actually says "1958 red and white Plymouth Fury." the only reason it had four doors and a shift lever instead of buttons is because king didn't even know what the car looked like. He just wanted one to use a an angry furious car, and he found the Fury. so he used that.

  • @sobertson1 who gives a rat's about the book? Sounds like you really know your cars. All I know is whatever cars they used in that movie...I've never seen anything like them! I don't know how they did it...but that Christine was so awesome....just makes me want to scream at the moon!

  • LEATHER......Check your spelling....RED LEATHER...Not LETHER. I don't know if this has already been brought to your attention. Nice Job on the painting :o)

  • very good job

    It's gonna be cool!

  • i love this car cant wait to get one

  • 1:30- 1:34 funny! i love herbie and christine

  • I love the cotton trick at 1:14!!! classic!!!!

  • Read the book Stephen King discribes the car as having four doors

  • Too Cool Car! The movie of the title called Christine was seen. Please keep It!

  • you forgot to put the shit on the dash, its no big deal, shit wipes...

  • i have the real christine model with working lights does yours

  • That's 1 cool car! (I like the 'smoke' from the wheel spin!) "Christine" is one of my fave all-time fims (probably 'cos of the music!). I had a few models in the '90s of similar cars too ('57 Chevy -very similar to 'the Fury' & a Buick (I think!) painted mint green). I couldn't afford the luxurious metal ones though, mine were all plastic!

  • i cheated and bought a metal model with headlights lol

  • @joemeek304 So did I. I bought 2 of them and I turned one into a convertible and the other one I left in the package. Never been opened. It still has the factory "air" in it lol

  • @tripovermyego i confess to having my out on display, and gave the seats and internal parts a paint job, thou maybe i shouldnt have as im has odd coloured headlight led bulbs ones got a tint of green glow other is white

  • @joemeek304 thats fine. I took all the wires out of the one I turned into a convertable. I set it in my fishtank with the lights on and it looked badass!!! But the water corroded the wires so I took it apart and pulled all the wires out and then cut the top off so now its a convertable. Looks pretty cool if I do say so myself. lol

  • that is beautiful!! I always wanted to get a fury, but after I saw the movie for the second time I am scared of red furys. lol Good stuff!!

  • you done a real good job wit the paint i had the plastic version and my son tore it up but i will get the metal one and keep it in the box

  • lol, good idea.

  • Beautiful car!
