If anyone in 'showbiz' has earned the right to some privacy then Ms Streisand HAS,most assuredly! Also,she has definitely more than adequately shown her skill in ALL aspects of her work,be it her vocal gift,her acting & directing,& her comic timing etc. People,(usually men),have often accused her of being 'difficult', a 'ball-breaker' even! So how come she's won so many awards in the last 4 decades?! La Streisand is quite simply a TRUE star!
