@darius83 Well said my friend, Devin is really an amazing person! His persona, his music is beyond everything, thanks to him I learned that music does helps and moves in many ways ∞

korn isn´ t that bad, i mean a VERY little in the verse! but it is so little that i maybe should have letted them out and just said Nu-Metallish instead! and that doesn´ t mean that it IS Nu metal right? And it comes from a die heart devin towsend/SYL fan! pathetic!
i totally see your point. in fact i think it is more than just "a very little bit". if i'd just heard the verse i would have guessed korn before syl. syl generally has a lot of nu metal elements to it, especially in the lyrics.
why is it so important to so many metalheads to condemn everything not-so-metal?
And this also comes from a die heart devin towsend fan.
Reminds me a little of a industrial more thrashy version of korn! though i must say, it´ s just a little! a very little. maybe that´ s why deve isn´ t so proud of it cause it´ s too Nu-Metalish, dunno! but the intensity level is absolute in a league of it´ s own!
@Windermarin Well since not everybody likes this music you can't say its the best of our generation. Lets just say hes at least the most entertaining and the most talented. ^^
from the sound of devin's voice I'd say this was an outtake from city, could be wrong though. if someone said centipede didnt fit with city I would agree it's just such a damn good song, atleast it was on the city re-issue
This song rocks! not one of their best but great stuff! Strange he don´ t like it:P many bands would be glad about have such a song in their catalogue!
Personally I think when I first hear this song it reminds me of the 80's music. Not a bad thing, it gives me that impression though, It is some damn good kickass 80's sounding music!
WOW! Wicked! I heard this one on the bonus tracks on city but it's even BETTER live! What can I say about SYL that everyone hasn't already said! HEAVIEST MEANEST BEST ORCHESTRAL METAL AROUND
this song is my all time fav of devs....ive known it for almost a decade and its still just as awesome today as the first day i heard it...cheers dude...the hair stands up on my neck everytime
Grew up listening to strapping and still remember finding this song on no sleep till bedtime album and listening to nothing else for a week, this and Japan. Awesome song. I was speaking to Byron and Jed outside there gig in london and they said both these songs where already written by Devin before strapping formed so there not really strapping per se but you got to love this song....Awesome!!!!

The universe is a creation of God ? But Who's God ? What's mean God ? God create humans ? A lot of busy questions for those I never have an answer...
One thing I surely know is that Dev create for me the signification of the word "music" !
And thanks for that Dev, your music is my inspiration, she's the answer for all of my questions !
Your music is my religion !

My current favorite from City, underrated and great
I see this, Japan, Monday and Spirituality as something completely different from usual SYL / Devin stuff. As if it's a new project.

Interesting you say that. It reminds me of a release of an album in the '90's by an '80's band - Pandemonium by Killing Joke.
Anyway, it's a killer song no matter how you slice it.
