  • i though this was monster hunter

  • AM i the only person who wishes these were real games even if they didn't have good graphics?

  • This monster is not so smart. He could just hit the flying boat and take his lunch to home, but instead he jumps over it just to show up.

  • lol une 6600LE... j'ai cramé la mienne tiens^^

  • that dragon was scary, but it reminds me of power rangers

  • that must be a deep ass river..

  • Woah just noticed the 0 fps. Yup back then whoever could run this on maximum legit 30+ fps was a god and now... like run crysis on "Very High" 2560x1600 with max AA over 100fps is a god

  • thats a big fishie

  • this just proves the power that a PC has

a PC is way much better than a ps3\xbox360\wii

  • wat the hell this dude can run canyon flight at highest quality WHILE recording and he still has better framrates than me >.>

  • @UTubeLightBulb cant you read or something? he prerendered every frame and he put them together to make it seem like its 30 fps bur in reality if you look a little you'll see that hes running it at some fractions of a frame

  • i did a score 3 days ago with my new computer 20884

    (default setup) 1280*1024

    AMD Phenom 2 x4

    ATi radeon 5870

    4 gig ram

  • that doesnt seem like 0 fps lol

  • @jasonx165 because its OVER 9000!!!!!

  • omg what a shitty result :D

  • @ XicoPalma . Why the fuck u get thumb down O_O ? just by telling u got 17637 .. :S . and u got some good gear xD ? thumb up for u m8 :P

  • Actually the reason I was getting some.. hum.. bad results was, (i think) my ram, it was supposely 1066 and the bios were reading 600 and something i don't remember xD overclocked a little more (3.9 cpu, 1095 ram) and got 19796 :D

(for me its good, I never had lag in this system so who cares if you spent more money for nothing and had a beter score..)

    btw thanks guitar dude :P

  • hehe np :) well nvm about that hehe xD

  • @XicoPalma Nice.

  • lol my computer can play this at 60 fps locked.

  • y would the monster wanna eat a hotairbaloon?

  • it had delicious people on it :)

  • i got around 34 fps here :P i never knew the score cause it "couldnt find it online"

  • I get 10,080 with my asus g50vt. I overclocked the gpu alot and have it running on a cooler with no bottom panel.

  • where did you get the sounds frm?

  • recorded from demo mode

  • and 11801 in final result

  • i got like around 60-70 fps all the time

  • my computer failed at this test i got like 10 fps some times but moste time i got about 30fps and in the gpu test i got like 1fps lol!!!!!!!!!! my graphics card is a shit 9500 gt 512mb dedicated graphics, did i do ok in my test????

  • why do u need to render it with my pc it never goes below 30 anyway

  • 3 years ago without spending 1000€ in graphics card it wasn't possible ^^ (and here I have 1280x1024 with full antialiasing/anisotropic rendred by a 6600LE)

  • Haha, 6600 LE was my old card. Such a faukure at a GPU.

  • @moineau44 6600LE! Holy shit that was low end =D

  • lol mine is so slow lol

  • HEY, keep in mind for the next 3DMark that theres no need for a super-fast computer, all you need is to PRE-RENDER each frame and RECORD it to a video file, its the same thing movie companies do with CGI.

  • then you don't have sound.

  • So, you add it using a video editor.

Or, get creative and add your own sounds, music, and maybe even dialogue; make your own soundtrack.

  • But then it you wouldn't have the sounds like the water and the explosions from the cannons

  • It can if you add your own sound effects.

Go around and listen to things and record them. Or, find the sound effects used in movies that you feel sound right and find ways to sample them and use them in your soundtrack.

Try to visualize how the sound can tell the story.

  • maybe but than you would have to be very good to make it sound like this

  • Of course. That, and having a good library of sounds and the ability to create sounds and competently record them as well.

  • Cant wait for the movie

  • I got 97.596 average fps on this test and got 15515 3DMarks. Not bad! ^_^

  • How did you get the sound?

  • i think this is the demo mode

  • 3dmark 03 i'm guessing it's not 06 cause i ran 3d06 and i read one of thoes gay tip things(i know i took a few seconds to read something, wow)and it told me if i wanted to test out my sound i have to use the 03mark cause it only tests sound and not the gpu/cpu.that's the reason i'm guessing i see no fps on the thing

  • In the demo mode, they play the entire clip with sound. I'm guessing they omitted sound in the benchmarking version because then some of the system resources will be deviated from the primary cause for running the benchmark in the first place; for testing the GPU.

  • Veoh sucks ass... can you find a different site to host the download?

  • Also something more : The name of the test isn't Cannon Flight, it's Canyon Flight.

I've tried to look for this program you said, but I can't find it. Is there a link? And it is freeware or shareware?

    What is your system's specs?

  • Woops edited :D

  • It is the same.

  • Maby it take some time to take effect on this page...

The prog is here : sourceforge dot net /projects/bmpseq

    My rig is a AMD x2 3800+, 1Gb memory, 6600LE 256Mo

  • Yes, now the change is visible.

Thank you, I've downloaded this program, later today I'll try it and see what happens...

I have an AXP 2400+, 1.25GB DDR RAM and a new X1650 Pro AGP. I upgraded to the X1650 Pro some months ago to get rid of my old AIW 9000 Pro. On Canyon Flight 1280x1024 (default resolution) I get 7FPS, but I saw in another comment of you that you get 7FPS 800x600...

  • What he has done is to use the Image Quality tool from 3DMark06 to capture every frame from this graphics test (40 frames per second), then he has put them all together to look like a video and he added sound from 3DMark05 Demo. (yes, not 3DMark06 Demo, there are quite differences to these two soundtracks)

To the owner of this video : I try to do the same thing as you (capture every frame and put them as a video), but I can't find any way to do it. Is there a program to put all frames?

  • Yes it's exactly this (And even me have forgoten that it was 2k5 music ^^ and I was not aware that there were differences)

To put every frames as a video it was quite difficult because I don't know any program to do it. I'v found a vb program on the net who was doing it but I'v modified it because it was buggy with frames more than 800x600.

EDIT : I just see a sound forge program "BMP to AVI Sequencer" you can try and tell me if it work ;)

  • Yes, I have both 3DMark05 and 3DMark06, and I found many differences on sound. (and music too)

Also I'm sure you captured 40FPS and not 30FPS. I've seen your high-quality version on Stage6 (now shut-down) and I saw that the frames were changing by 40 each second.

Tomorrow (if I have time of course!), I'll search for this program and I'll put all the frames I've captured so far to this program and I'll tell you results.

    Thank you for the help.

  • It is 30 fps but I don't remember why the numbers of frames goes at 40 fps. if we go step by step on the vid we can see that all numbers are not here... I don't remember as I'v done it 2 years ago ;)

    Good luck with your vid.

I will not be able to do it on 3dmark vantage we have to do it under dx10/vista :(

  • In the Image Quality tool in 3DMark06, in the capture options, you can see at how many FPS you capture frames, and you may have put the frames to 40. (deafult is 30)

Some frames might not be here, because you may have done some frames on 40FPS and some on 30FPS. (and they get mixed, and that's the loss of frames)

I'm doing my video with 24FPS. (higher choices will make me lose really a lot of time)

I'm also waiting for a new DX10 rig in Q2 2009 to replace my old, crappy rig.

  • how do you add sounds to it?

    i have 06GT2 without sound

    8xaa 16xaf 1024x768.30fps

    how too add sound?

  • umm, it's called the demo mode, just click the demo button at the main 3dmark window.

  • but this is not demo

    this is image quatily(no sound)

  • yeah, I tried out Image quality mode the other day but I could only find the game tests to use, not demo mode. Only thing I can think of is that he did the Image render and then when stitching the video together he added the sound from the demo mode. I will check again tonight, because now that I think about it that is a little fishy.

  • how have you put in on youtube with out lag??? You have 0 FPS... how have you record it???

  • Read the video information, he just rendered each frame individually and put em together (must have taken a while)

  • dang that must have taken you ages, it would take me years

  • AWSOME MOVIE

  • its a video designed to stress out your graphics card, and you get a score at the end. i think the record is 22,000 or something? i know a 8800GT pulls 12k so you know (Y)

  • me likey

  • fucking amazing

  • is this a game or video made by you? it's freakin awsome whatever it is

  • What was ur total 3dmark?

  • lol i get 3fps on this

  • i got 1

  • i get somewhere between 11 and 21 but i still get a crappy score...

  • better than 05

  • When you register you can render any frame. I have rendered all (lots of bmps !) and with a software, make the video. After I have recorded the sound from the "demo" part.

  • FPS?

  • About 0fps caus I didn't rendered it in real time. In real time, I'v about 7fps in 800x600.

  • mais t as quelle carte graphique ?

  • 6600 LE :s

  • dont worry bro. its not that bad =/

    *uses a [AGP 8x] 6200LE*

  • How did you render that, 3D mark is all real time??

  • hehe, and in 5 years we will all be laughing at this :D

  • Sure ! as we are lauthing about older 3D mark ;)

  • Comment se fait-il que dans celui que je fait runner sur mon PC j'ai pas se sound ?

    COOL

  • J'ai récupéré le son de la partie démo que j'ai incrusté sur les images de la partie test

  • whats so great about direct x 10? And what was the FPS on that??

  • It is not DX10 but DX9. It was 0 FPS on that caus is was not in real time.

With a GF 8800 you can have more than 30 FPS in real time

  • Ah.. That water splash would have been a boner-moment with DirectX 10 xD

Very nice vid. dling the high-res clips now ;)

  • thanks heh cool machine dude

  • i agree!

  • This is the best part of 3D Mark 2006 :).
