iShowU HD in 30 Seconds

I used iShowU on intel iMac 1.8Ghz with 2GB of RAM and it lagged as HELL with no applications working.. i know it's a slow Mac but with screenflow everything was recording smoothly, high quality.. nothing ever lagged, even coverflow in iTunes for my hundreds of albums.

Oh well. I guess it's all about preference.

This is iShowU HD, not iShowU. iShowU did that for me as well on my 1.66 GHz Core Duo Mac Mini. However, iShowU HD works better than Screenflow on my Mini.

its great but its no screenflow. Ive been messing with it for a little over 24 hours and screenflow just has beter looking h.264 movies but i showuhd lets you drag and drop into FCP timeline.

And it's not trying to be Screenflow. Screenflow is for pro-consumers. iShowU is for professionals (better quality, higher fps, less CPU-usage). Personally I don't think Screenflow is worth $100 for what it offers. The only two things I see it having is better mouse zooming in and keyframing. Two things, and you pay another $70 from iShowU top get them.

I'd rather spend $230 on iShowU HD and FInal Cut Express. Better value.

I downloaded it and it crashed my macbook i rebooted and now every time i try and open it it crashes and my mac is not working to good the ram and cpu usage go up ALOT

so it's pretty buggy on meh mac

Email support. We've tested on many Macbook's but I guess they're not all the same. Are you using Tiger by chance?

imma using osx 10.5 i think but it's buggy the program not the os tho

i got it to open after a restart but freezes all the time

See, that's really odd because we've tested it on virtually every intel Mac. It might be a bad install or your hardware is dying.
