Même si "Poupée de cire Poupée de son" semble joyeuse en apparence, elle est plutôt tragique. C'est assez bouleversant de voir France Gall chanter (avec une fausse naïveté déconcertante)cette chanson qui parle des jeunes chanteuses comme elles qui se font manipuler.
