  • if you want Exia's arm to go a full 180, just take out that piece above the elbow.

  • looks messy...

  • char mode!!!!!!!!

  • TRANS-AM SETSUNA!

  • 14:33 no, it would have been nice if it were actually green, to you know, be show accurate :I cause i dont think trans am would turn GN particles into the psudo versions. but thats a nitpick at best tbh

  • his head is abit big i thimk

  • is he 4 beginers plz reply...anny one

  • @TheArbiterand117 no it's for intermidiate to advance

  • @KiraYamato636 o.k how about the 1/144 hg

  • @TheArbiterand117 yeah it's intermidiate. try 1st grades or no grades, theyre not that complicated

  • @KiraYamato636 i can't fing thouse and there is a bit of cour on the model

  • @TheArbiterand117 if you cant then try getting the mg advandced ones it's not relly that HARD for beginners but if u want to do it step by step then i recommand u to get fg or mg

  • but 00 condenser type used trans-am in the movie and it didnt have any drives

  • @tosthage1 It did?When was that?*Has poor memory*

  • @jayko657 when setsuna tried to communicate with the ELS the first time (i think that was when he got brain damage and went into a coma)

  • a trans am setsuna lol

  • ok im new to gundam so im been wonder whats trans arm is it just a pinkish redish version ????

  • @cuban7633 in the anime Gundam00 the gundams have a mode called Trans Am which improves their performance and makes them glow red

  • @TheOriginalHigh thank alot that really clears things hey ive been watching gundam oo and ive seen trans am alot why did oogundam stop useing it ????

  • @cuban7633 if my memory serves me correctly i think it eventually does utilize trans am, but the reason it cant at first is because the gn drives on 00 gundam arent fully operational

  • @TheOriginalHigh wow your awsome at gundams do you have a gundam model kit if you you should do your own reviews =)

  • @cuban7633 =] im just a long time fan and no unfortunately i dont have any models but this is something im actually intrested in starting up as a hobby!

  • @TheOriginalHigh awsome i think you should do it you would be great at it

  • Can't u just use chrome silver and put a really thin lair of clear red over it to make chrome pink?

  • Hey guys, which one of the MG Exias would you recommend more?

  • @shinigami223 Either this or the original. Since Exia repair II doesn't have a MG.Too bad Avalanche Exia wasn't MG'd.Since in my opinion, its the best version of the Exia.

  • I just can't understand why this is ¥2000 more than the original. A plate of chrome and two lights are not worth it.

  • I like the concept of the trans-am system from the anime, but its kinda like with G Gundam, the super mode is cool but its almost just another way for bandai to bump up the price on the exact same molding. I mean, do you even get special pieces for the Trans-am versions?

  • @griffinmpable HG Trans-am kits are the same price as the original, with the exception of Seravee because Trans-am includes the Seraphim. The normal Mg Exia doesn't have an LED or chrome parts, while Trans=am does. That's why it's more expensive.

  • Would you recommend I get the Trans-Am Exia or the 'normal' Exia? Given the fact that I have the 00 Qan[T]. Do you think the colour way would be too similar?

  • Hey Prime, do you think you could make an Exia Repair Trans Am Mode?

  • I have the original ignition mode, and I also had a problem with the LEDs flickering. This one seems much better and will go nicely with the original. All I need is this and the 1/144 GN Armor variant, then I'm pretty much done with Exia, at least for now.

  • for the Light up drive, does it only work on the Exia, or can I swap thye cone and use it on a GN-X?

  • @BlitzkriegOmega You can use it on the GN-X or the new 00 qant master grade.

  • did you paint any parts of the trans am? or if anybody did this kit... did you have to paint or is just that fresh?? lol

  • How long would the battery last?

  • @michael8062004 - Those "ribbons" are tubes of sorts to transport gn particles throughout the exia. Also, those similar looking pieces in the thighs are the same thing, although I think that the thighs might be windows of sorts kind of like the domes, to see into where the gn particles are stored.

  • why there are some ribbins near the shoulder? they are for what?

  • it looks confuzzling to build...

  • Wait so if i am right the red thing will recharge the batteries of the LED units? than when it is fully recharged i can put the GN Drive on its back?

  • i find that on every one of my exia models the gn swords become a huge problem

  • Im Getting this soon :DDD

Does it take long to build?

  • exia gundam or gundam exia ?

  • @8:02, my right beam saber handle is also loose, i stuck a tiny piece of double sided tape inside & it holds much better now

  • the only thing i dont like about transam is the way the plastic is it looks cheap, but i would consider getting this kit

  • When you say original do you mean Ignition or the No Grade?

  • This dosen't copme with the Lighting does it?

  • @tommy130031

You may already know why kyrios doesn't have a cone on its back, but I'm still gonna tell. The GN drive is not actually a cone. Its actually cylindrical. Every gundam in gundam 00 has a Gn drive. Its outer appearance is just different from others. Like the exia, 00 and dynames has cone shaped outer ones the kyrios, virtue, cherudim, seravee and arios have them aswell. They just don't have a cone shaped exterior, but all the Drives are cylindrical in the inside.

  • @Mugenkogane most f what you said are true but the gn drives are actually just a cylinder the cone things are just the parts that protects the gn drive

  • get mg gnx and switch out the LED's

  • the shield reminds me of the aegis for some reason

  • @Megatron7575 I second that.

  • Hey Prime, Out of curiousity, upon 10, how much would you rate to buy the MG exia Trans-arm and Exia Ignition Mode for ' MUST BUY'- ability.Example 'Wing Gundam Zero Custom - 7/10' or something.Let me know yeah? =D

  • Hey prime for the cut marks in the chrome I used a silver sharpy and a pink sharpy to cover up the black it looks decent

  • i bet setsuna is coulored pink :D

  • @suckdball The Setsuna figure is colored pink

  • 14:43 dunadunadunaduna EX iAAAA!!!

15:18 i was expecting more than one

  • trans am way better

  • Exias gn drive looks like a sudo reactor

  • psudo is spelled with a p

  • @tempest1226 thanks

  • The GN Drives for all Gundams use the same technology, the shape is just merely cosmetically different. Just look at Exia's and 00's.

00 has Exia's GN Drive, just in a different shape and design.

  • i hope that Bandai make an Exia repair 2 master grade so ill just get that and the trans-am exia. and also why dont you just use titanium shinanju technique but instead of red just use that pink color if a shop has it

  • @00GundamExia its called the ignition mode, its 1/100 MG

  • @undeadboll i know that i just hope they will make a R2 version

  • @00GundamExia or an R2 upgrade kit

  • @00GundamExia well isnt it the ignition mode of exia has already have a version of exia reapair 2?? are you really a modler yourself?

  • @kenjho no that is just the normal repair not r2 as in the exia in the end of season 2

  • you could try home depot but i doubt they have it

  • Did you really need to go over everything again?! You could've just shown whats different from the normal and post a link to the other for articulation. Save yourself some time.

That red LED would come in very handy for the MG GN-X though.

  • @tommy130031 It has a drive under gray, round housing on it's back, just between those 2 big black parts that are connected in MS mode. It has alot verniers all over it's body, mainly used in MA mode, so it doesn't need one on it's back

  • Does the stand connector still suck? Mine fell of its base, it scratched the paintjob and broke the hipjoint.

  • @tommy130031 Yeah the same with cheridum i have the cheridum 1/144 scale ... nooo gn drive? ... is it just that scale that doesnt have it? but I guess that explains it from kevinskie .... I think at the end of the first season dynames just got so torn up that its gn drive needed an over haul so they built into a jet pack looking deal

  • @coolguyscottydont The GN drives are stored in different containers for each mobile suit, the white cone is only armour to protect it. Cherudims GN drive is attached to its ass and the GN bits protect it, dynames had its in the chest but it did'nt need a cone.

  • @ZR0Ver2 it didn't have it in its chest, it was on its back but with no cone, what are you smoking?? watch the first season again, look at pictures, get your facts straight!!

  • @Scared4life19 Yes it was in the chest, just like exia's. In fact it had a cone aswell, it was just hidden by those shield parts for the entire seaon.

  • Just watched Prime92 vid to make sure. it's there, except it doesn't have a cone turbine like Exia . To answer your question about pointy drives, if you watch the parts where the Tieria revealed Nadleeh, the back of it's drive was round. And now that I think about it, while you need a drive to go Trans-Am, you can stay that way as long as you have power. For example, when Seravee Trans-Ams and separates, Seraphim takes the drive, and Seravee must be running on the condensers it uses for weapons.

  • lol Exia signal.

    Nannanananannananannananna EXIA!!! exia....exia!

  • sweetness to my eye, lol.

  • such a neat kit

I hate that the conections for the legs like to come apart sometimes ... i fixed it up nice with some plastic cement ^_^

  • i put the pink chrome on my regular mg

  • Color scheme reminds me or the strike rouge.

  • does it come with a stand?

  • why not cover those nub marks on the blades with small dabs of silver paint and a light coat of thinned clear red. it wont be perfectly pink but it can probably conceal those nubs nicely

  • I LOVE THE EXIA!!!!

  • The exia is such a badass suit!

  • its the exia signal! to the GNmobile!

  • Nice model! Im getting the Exia Ignition MG

  • That's a great model

  • I've finished assembling my Ignition Mode Exia last week and i'm absolutely in love with it.

I don't have most of the problems you describe though... GN Drives don't flicker at all, hand connector has no problem, GN Sword connector does connect well if i don't accidentally disconnect it while trying to connect at the hand.

My shoulder beam sabers are a bit wiggly though... And i don't like the back skirts much either, but that's the least.

  • Already got my MG Exia but it is tempting to pick up that trans am version, very nice looking kit

  • will u be reviewing 1/60 NG Exia?

  • I have the same problem with My MG Exia's (Ignition Mode) hand.

Another Problem I had with my MG Exia is the the thumb on the right hand love to pop of. Personally, I don't like the type of joint they used on the pelvis (up and down one). I actually prefer the one that go front and back. Funny thing is that the MG Blue Frame's are amazing, and it doesn't have any sliding pelvis joint to begin with.

  • i had the normal but i did not build the repair parts yet.and i have trouble with its ankle until i got an action base but this one looks awesome

  • Hum, the GN battery is kind of stupid in this kit because to go Trans-Am, a Mobile Suit needs a GN-Drive ^^".

    Great review btw.

  • You could touch up the blades using the same method as you did for your MG Titanium Finish Sinanju

  • You could touch up the chrome parts with silver paint then use pink paint like your MG Titanum Finish Sinanju

  • this is such a lame kit that bandai did. it's exactlly the same as the regular master grade exia but with a different paint job... they could have at least included something additional...great video none the less...

  • @suiton629 I've been thinking lately. I might actually end up getting another mg exia and then getting a mg 00 raiser and a mg 00 quant...

  • @suiton629 but has a better box art , lol

  • i still think thats a messed up knee joint but i dont like the exia anyways

  • God I love that light-up GN Drive feature. It's the coolest gimmick Gundam has ever come up with. Definitely would love to see other models light up.

  • Thats very nice MG Exia with Trans Am. From what I have seen, you really seem to like from Exia and from other Gundam 00 models when they are Trans Am. It has to be colors.

  • the arios gn/hw/m from

    here a link to seravee

  • Nice Prime, I just started watching the classic Gundam Online, hopefully I'll finally know the robots you're talking about

  • you can mix pink paint with silver......

  • If pnly bandai had given a little more panel lines on the parts that turn red when in trans arm...

  • are you getting

    GN-006GNHW/R Cherudim Gundam GNHW/R

    GN-008GNHW/B Seravee Gundam GNHW/B

    and ...

  • glue stickers o-o. oh btw. has anyone noticed the beam sabers and daggers are from the ng 1/100?
