Cenk's far from the only Republican to vote against George W. Bush and his policies. I spoke to a Republican who supports Obama, for chrissakes. A number of conservatives and moderates are abandoning the Republican party due to the takeover of the religious right and neocons. The mainstream of the Republican Party AREN'T conservatives in any sense. These are dangerous revisionist radicals, and actual conservatives are picking up on that.

@Visfen: I hesitate to call the current mainstream of the Republican party conservatives in any real sense. They are not fiscal conservatives, and they don't believe in the American traditions of rule of law. In that sense they are radical, not conservative. They're social conservatives with a vengeance, true, but their way of going about it pretty much tears down the separation of church and state, which is again a pretty radical stance to take.
