why is every1 bitchin about metallica's version is better / primus' version is better? nothing beats the original! the heaviest & most massive piece metallica ever recorded!

primus payed their tribute in their own way. that's to respect, but not in a 1000000 years can the tribute beat the original. there is NO cover of metallica I've heard, that sounds better than metallica recorded it!!!

(some sound really good & interesting like dream theater & barney from ND, but better - NEVER!)

Well I love Primus even as much as they (SUCK) but I have to say this cover sounds better than Metallica's version. Maybe its the recording but this version has a more prominent sound and Les has a unique voice that sounds good as much as it sometimes sounds not so good but he still gets out and does his thing regardless of what ppl think and if any of us could be brave enough to follow that type of lead we may be half the person he is. Btw his vocals in this song was better than theirs

Gotta say that both Primus and Dream Theater both covered this song really well, gonna give the edge to Primus though. It stays more true to original yet it still has its own Primus 'twang to it. LaBrie's vocals aren't well suited for this song, still both bands rock.
