And also, when you see that the page turns into a "scanning website" that scans your computer and shows fake files that seem to be on your computer. So, camouflaged attackers = ads, and fake scanning websites. There are more - these are just the 2 main attackers.

Already in the works and scheduled for later this year. The best thing is that the extensions and the themes change in real; time without having to restart the browser. Install a toolbar and it just appears, choose a theme and it just applies with no restart. Firefox can't beat that.

Also, as I said earlier, Chrome's extension framework is underway and will be completed later this year. So far, it's already easier and better than Firefox. That is, if you have a "fast" computer. Anyways, on my old laptop, I prefer using chrome due to faster startup times and loading, but on my desktop, they load just as fast, and websites as well (I have 10megabit dl speed, so it is not capped)

Anyways, you cannot say that chrome is twice as fast in all cases, but maybe in some. I understand what you are saying though.
