@Mitch450000 Sorry, Got the bucket seats off ebay back in 2006, then ordered a seat frame from ford but i think its discounted, any bucket seat frame from 92-96 will work. I'll hunt down a part number for the frame. The frame uses the bolts and studs the bench seat uses. Total install time 20 minutes !
@cyberpine cut out the second cat and run the 3in from the first one and put a y pipe in with the pipes out the side i did that on my old 87 with a straight 6 and it sounds mean

So who did the side pipes for the cherry bomb? They came out looking really good. So what did those buckets come out of? Did the outer section of the bracket just bolt in? Im guessing you drilled and bolted the inner section of the seat brackets?
There is a place here in austin "muffin mufflers" thay welded everything up , the seats out of a 94 Lightning i orderd the bucket seat frame for the buckets from Ford , with the seat frame the buckets bolted right in total time intall of the buckets 30 minutes, with the seat frame no drilling was needed.

I attempted to do my own side exit exhaust. It looks great, but sounds just like it did stock. I have stock manifolds and cats, but a dynomax muffler. Do you have aftermarket headers?
@BAMFnavajo You need to get rid of that 2nd cat. They're very restrictive.
Or even cheaper, get rid of the muffler and just run side exit exhaust off of the cat, it will sounds GREAT and not be too loud, it gives a very low sound.
Im currently getting 15MPH 16 if i drive normal and with the windows up, with your stock cats and a cherrybomb extreme the exhaust volume would most likely increse some with the muffler case so small, how loud and how does the 40 sound on your truck? the magnaflow cat kit was $248 though Summit racing.
yeah I think I'm averaging about 18 mph or a little less since I have a heavy foot. The 40 sounds alright, it sounds good on a cold start up and when it's warming up but when I'm actually driving around or if I turn the truck on while the engine is still warm it's just not the loud aggressive sound I wanted. A buddy of mine recommended if I ever change the muffler to get a bigger tail pipe for it to be louder.

im trying to decided weither i would want to go with the cherrybomb extreme or the vortex. but if i get the vortex i dont think i wanna spend the extra 140 on highflow cats. what do you think.
If your cats are not clogged i would leave them, if thay are replace them with high flows, With your cats the tone/volume will be quieter than mine even though i have high flows.
It would be loud, the tone might be different with your glass back, It most likey will be louder than mine, my extreme muffler i think would have a deeper tone than a glass pack.
hey i got a 1996 f-150 ext, i just put on a cherrybomb glasspack and the cats r still on, i was wondering if i took the cats off and put a exit like urs right before the rear tire, if it would sound good like urs or atleast have a decent sound?

Its quick great acceleration, its not real fast wih the stock (302) , waiting till it dies to install a new crate powerplant. 15/16 MPH mixted
