  • Libertarians say they want freedom, and they MEAN it. We want freedom and small gov't in ALL spheres of life, so long as you're not initiating force against others. The 2 major parties are really just 2 wings of the same party- the Big Gov't Party. As Judge Napolitano pointed out, Republicans wanna take away your civil liberties and engage in needless wars, and Democrats wanna take away commercial liberties and ALSO engage in needless wars. And take away some social freedom, too.

  • What Grover either ignores or fails to realize is that Republicans tend to be JUST AS statist! They're all for the military-industrial complex, American hegemony, taking away civil liberties for "counterterrorism", taking away OTHER civil liberties in the name of "morality", jailing people just for using drugs, etc. And of course, they were all for Bush's spending for 6 years! They did little to stop him from running up all this debt.

The only consistent folks are libertarians here.

  • Grosser Nosetwist. Bought and paid for by big oil companies and trust fund babies.

  • Hilary Clinton is such a statist. If she had her way, the state would be essentially raising our children. It would be a softer version of Big Brother, too. Hell, she wanted to garnish wages to pay for her idiotic NHC system. She said in the debates that "there will be an enforcement mechanism." That's outrageous!

  • Speaking of "Big Brother", I read somewhere that Hilary was a big fan of "1984". Scary.

  • Voter suppression, the only way republicans can win an election.

  • Yeah, that' why the democrats can't win without Acorn's help. Convicted and found guilty of voter violations in 6 states.

  • You don't even know what you're talking about.

  • I don't huh? Well how about a video you can find right here on youtube of Acorn affiliates breaking into houses that have been reposed by the bank? How about the 3 kids in Ohio on a Columbia campus who admitted they were told by Acorn to make fraud voter registrations? How about 4 students in DC who walked into a library with phone books and made 211 voter cards and of those turned in only 4 were valid? How about Minnesota having more votes in counties then there were voters? Your response sir?

  • That story is true. However it was Acorn that was the victim, You see Acorn pays these assholes per card, and under law they have to turn in every card they get weather it's bogus or not, they try to flag the ones they're not sure of but that's difficult. And for your information Acorn was NEVER convicted or found guilty of any voter fraud in any states. You need to do a little homework on something other then right wing blogs.

  • I have 6 cases right here, I could send them to your mail if you wish? I'm more than happy to debate their validity.

  • Send them, but lets agree they'll be sources we BOTH can agree are legitimate. That means NO right-wing blogs or YouTube vids, but valid sources like Washington Post, NY times, Newsweek, Chicago Tribune, etc. NO Hannity, O'Reilly or Fox propaganda bullshit.

  • Don't listen to this thug. The fascist - err, Republican - party can only hope to win by intimidation, disenfranchisement, outright lies, out of context quotes and similar nonsense. Go out and vote, it's your right as an American citizen. And frankly, trying to prevent those who don't agree with you from voting would be considered by some people to be un-American. But we all know the right couldn't care less about the country anyways; they'd gleefully destroy democracy to maintain their power.

  • I get the impression that Norquist either doesn't understand sustainability, or is working to facilitate the "apocalypse".

  • Well he's pushing for a fiscal apocalypse, so an actual one isn't far-fetched.

  • Child Support has nothing to do with your right to vote and no one at the poll has juridiction over those things anyway .

  • another lie to try to keep people from voting .

Dont listen to that crap and go vote , take your time and make sure your vote count , no provisional ballot at worse a ER paper ballot But vote, take ur neighbors GO VOTE

  • LeGioNoFZioN, I'm not sure if you're making my point, or you even have a point. The financial meltdown we are experiencing down here is a combination of supply-side economics and GW Bush's incompetence for the last 8 years. We've exchanged fair trade for free trade, and you're right Canada, Mexico, and China have benefited. This bleeding of FACTORY jobs from the US has to stop.

And oh BTW Steven Harper is trying to do the same for you so keep voting for him, and U2 can be like the US.

  • The USA economy has been on a big bluff and it has been playing like that for more than "the 8 years"!!! Do you remember Enron and Worldcom?

They didn't just fail because oh Mr Bush did something, they were already in deep HOLE many many many many years and who else to blame? the banks YEP them they played along and they still messing around now! so please read up on Enron & Worldcom before talking about if Republican or Democrat to be blamed!!! I blame both parties because they're both corrupt!

  • Oh.... I give equal blame for this fiasco to Clinton and his Democratic leadership committee as well. He was elected as a progressive and then sold out to the supply-siders. He signed NAFTA for god-sake, as well as other derogatory legislation which he should have vetoed. Bill Clinton was nothing more then an extension of the supply-side destruction of the middle class that Reagan started.

  • This moron represents the last dying breath of Reaganomics. May him and his ilk rest in peace, and the sooner the better.

A strong economy is built from the bottom up not the top (trickle down)down. More American jobs, higher wages, and health care for all will develop a strong and vibrant middle-class, and thus make our country strong again.

  • how lost are you .... Chica, its not possible for you to have all those things and still be an economic leader. you will be more like us in Canada, and you will give up elements of your culture to the new ruling class. a thousand service jobs aren't worth one factory or production plant. America has already stiffled her competitive edge, and we in Canada and our cousins in Mexico benefit from your folly.

  • this guy is a fucking toad. I'm shocked and disappointed to hear Dr. Paul hangs out with such filth.

  • What a load of crap. "Imagine if you will who would be around the Democrat's table in my imagination". Imagine if you will a country where Republican's controlled all 3 branches of govt recently, who have held the presidency for 20 of the past 28 years and the Congress for 12 of the past 14. Now imagine a 55 trillion debt, a tanking economy and a new form of statism, not benevolent like Democrats but entirely about fear, corporate control & private security for the just the right price.

  • I don't know what he is eating. My toilet works fine.

  • This guy seems to be of the impression that statist democrats have been in power for the last eight years, when infact, statist republicans have been the one's holding office.

  • who owns FORA TV? This makes several segments now on Norquist. That probably tells us all we need to know.

  • they tend to do clips in blocks of three.

  • quicksite, We've posted two clips featuring Norquist, just as we posted two clips featuring Naomi Klein on Monday. As we've written in the description on our YouTube channel, FORAtv does not take a position on any of the opinions expressed by the speakers in our videos. Thanks for the comment.

  • ForaTV, thank you for reply. Yes I had seen the Naomi Klein pieces. I think the problem is that I didn't investigate the mission of ForaTV -- and for some reason had associated it with progressive media. I just need to go do the investigation to understand the intentions for your network.

  • Great clip, thank you for uploading it.

  • But props to Ron Paul don't know why he's hangin with this dude though

  • Only he would be worried about how much water is in the toilet because he is so full of shiat.

  • This guy has no sense of pattern recognition or cause and effect. He list only half of the equation then points out flaws in it. Well, certainly... if reality meshed with what he said then he might have had a point. But it doesn't, so he doesn't.

He tips his hand when he refers to Leviticus. He is used to arguments from authority, therefore he feels as though his words carry weight even though they are half-truths and literally dripping with ignorance.

  • Norquist is an antisocial moron. The idea that cutting taxes reduces spending runs directly contrary to all of the observed evidence.

  • here here!

    Norquist is an asshole.

  • Apparently one with the runs, given his toilet comment.
