I think the plastic blue part refers to Dolls... I dont know if any of you are familiar with antiques but some antique old dolls were made of a funny looking light blue plastic that is very distinctive. Also there lots of light blue throughout the video... many many antique items that are like early 1900s are light blue in color (it was a very popular color) for old dishware sets, wallpapers, etc , so edwardian so goth yah!. like look at the antique lookin wall paper.. this video rocks hard

The Birthday Massacre is truly a legend people have yet to realize.

Their 80s synthetic goth sound creates a sound that actually makes me want to sleep and dream of impossible things. Unlike the media shit that's popular today, the lyrics have a deep meaning to them. TBM brings me to a genre i rarely ever listen too, and I don't know what kind of person I'd be without them.

I'm 46 and this song and the "Looking Glass" tune (by this band), are the BEST 2 songs I've heard by any recent band in some 10 years. A truely creepy, beautiful and original melody. The distortion bit somehow works with it. Well done. Rock is NOT completely dead after all.

Remember, many people my age already have absorbed even heavier and weirder music back in the 70s and 80s (Frank Zappa, Bowie etc...). So, we are not shocked by Rock-and-Roll anymore. We just like GOOD stuff like TBM. The only thing my generation hates is RAP. But, NOTHING has been shocking since Jimi Hendrix. Listen to his 1967 "Third Stone from The Sun."
