  • Hmmm let me guess he also takes the kids to sex shops and leave the doors to his bedroom open at night when they have raging anul sex. GROSS! PUKE!

  • LOL You guys cracked me up. When do you sleep?? Seriously though, this is what all kids need. 2 parents who love, care for, and cherish them. Moms, Dad's whatever..at the end of the day, it's love and devotion that matter, and there is plenty of that in this family. Huge hugs, all of you.

  • Why no daughters :<

  • @DeviousToster

With Foster-adoption, you get what you're given. They were never allocated girls. When they were offered boys, they said "We wanna be parents, we'll take the first children you offer us!"

  • gentlemen, you are both great examples and i think what your doing is wonderful for these children.

  • I was going to post a comment about how they should move to San Francisco. Then they did. Yay! No one even notices here.

  • Lucky boys to have a second chance with these two wonderful men.

  • Racism, Homophobia? Seriously All I Gotta Say Is What There Doing Is The Right Thing, What There Doing Is Soo Wonderful, This Video Made My Day[: - Keep Rocking You Guys.!

  • Someone needs to tell those kids that they will dealing with racism for the rest of their LIFE and moving to San Francisco wont make it any better.

  • Will one of you homophobes give me the verse in the bible that says god doesn't like homosexuals/lesbians/bisexuals?

Have any of you EVER thought of any thing for your self do you have any of your own values?

U probaly dont have half a brain and if the church told you to beat your self to death with a bible u probaly couldnt do it quick enough.

P.S i think you guys are great parents ignore these imbaciles.

  • @cooldude3366 Leviticus 18:22 is often cited. However, I think it only meant to condemn men being used as sexual slaves.

  • NOW IM PISSED OFF REALLY 2 WHITE FAGS RAISING BLACK CHILDREN FUCK NO IF SLAVERY WASN'T ENOUGH, THIS IS WHY AMERICA IS FUCKED UP I CAN'T EVEN WATCH IT. OH HE'S A REVEREND NO HE ISN'T GOD LOOKS UPON HOMOSEXUALITY AS AN ABOMINATION. SATAN IS A HOMO AND THIS PROVES SATAN HAS DEFILED THE CHURCH. THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL WHY DO THEY HAVE ALL BOYS?? • @jstunna4900

He's a Unitarian Universalist reverend. Not all U.Us believe in God. U.Us aren't even a Christian denomination. Its a completely different religion focused on peace and tolerance- something you know nothing about.

They only have boys because thats what the State gave them.

But you're a troll- I'm only answering for the benefit of other readers.

  • @Treemeadow I don't care anymore about these worldly sins my prize will come when i enter my Fathers Kingdom God bless you and yeah :)

  • @jstunna4900 - You really are trash, aren't you?

  • Obvious appeal to pity fallacy in the title, using a loaded term "homophobia", sad violin music just begging you to feel empathy and forget all logic.

This video wreaks of homosexual propaganda.

  • Well, until people stop marginalising us like you do, maybe we feel like we need a little pro-queer propaganda.

You could stop all this "propaganda" by supporting gay people in society- unless you're against us, in which case, we need to work harder. There's nothing wrong with us.

  • Study: Gay Parents More Likely to Have Gay Kids

    Oct 17, 2010 – 4:14 PM

Walter Schumm knows what he's about to do is unpopular: publish a study arguing that gay parents are more likely to raise gay children than straight parents. But the Kansas State University family studies professor has a detailed analysis that past almost aggressively ideological researchers never had.

    aolnews com/2010/10/17/study-gay-parents-more-likely-to-have-gay-kids

  • @ChiT0wnLegend most studies show that what he says is in fact incorrect

  • I love this family. I think having nontraditional parents, who are different is more effective in transracial adoption b/c when parents are different, and bahave agaisnt the norm then they are more equipped to develop their children. They are an effective model of coping with lifes challenges while building their lives. B/c traditional parents focus more on making their children more traditional to suite others, rather than developing to cope with being who they are inspite of others views.

  • Haha! What a real cute family! the boys are adorable!

  • you are amazing parents according to me

  • disgusting homos, have they no shame?!?

  • @KenzoTenma90 yeah how dare they give those 5 children a loving home, the nerve

  • Oh,GOD BLESS you two wonderful men! You clearly have beautiful souls & have a passion for doing the right thing for kids who, sadly, would probably have remained in the system till they were turfed out at 18! Whatever the detractors & hate-filled homophobes may say you have very likely improved the lives of these sons of yours beyond all recognition.Again,GOD BLESS you both an your adorable sons!

  • You sure move a lot. What kind of minister are you?

  • se ve que los niños son demasiadooooo tremendos!!! jajaja

  • thank you for posting this.

  • i think what you 2 are doing is great. I do not see many people (straight or gay) stepping up to the plate and going to the State office to adopt or foster anyone or well at that 5 of them from the state. So who cares what other people say you are doing something great and they will be successful once they reach adulthood. And possibly they might even adopt or foster someone.

  • 5 boys... seriously?no girls.. oh yeah its because there gay and don't like girls. i forgot

  • @candygirl050792 that is beyond rude.

  • Gooooosh, how old are u?

go and get informations, befor u talk shit like dat.

  • @candygirl050792 wtf are u saying....... que imbecil mujer eres!

  • @candygirl050792 How clever was that? (NOT very)

  • @candygirl050792 I think you forgot something else: a brain. Did it ever occur to you that they don't pick and choose adopted kids based on gender like you would?

  • People who oppose gay adoption don't understand that these so called at risk kids that they would pass over are taken by gay couples and given a loving home with parents who will appreciate them as they are and let them blossom. With straight parents, you can have an accident and that's it--not so w gay parents. I say let's keep fighting for gay adoption rights because the children suffer when we don't allow them to be placed in loving homes

  • its good that you have somes kids if you only have the patience and the love inconditialy , bravo!

  • You both have my upmost Admiration, Acceptance and Love. If more people raised their children with the your values the world could so much brighter. God Bless you Greg, Stillman, Arthur, Dionte, Javonte, Allen and David Stewart- White

  • First of all I praise you two gentlemen for taking these five boys out of our failing foster system, and raising them with all the love and support the any child deserves. I am in full support of same-sex marriage and adoption, and I believe that everyone deserves the right to love and be loved. It shows in these boys eyes, words and zest for life and in yours(Stillman and Greg) how good parents you two are.

  • In the American foster care system, older black male children often don't get adopted as often as other children. So I'm glad that these two men were willing to see past all the stereotypes and see children who needed good parents and a loving home.

  • im sure they are better with these guys than off in some shitty institution ready to be dumped on the streets at 18

  • god bless them, this is truly warming!!!

  • "I know how to open it chubby guy" lool, kids do come out with funny things...

  • I commend any couple who adopt 5 boys. That is one challenging lifestyle as parents.

  • It does not matter they are gay parents, but why did they chose black babys? Thats just weird...

  • @ladyunebarton its hard to adopt no matter what and even harder for a gay couple. you take what you can get. some people are able to look past color and just feel love.

  • @ladyunebarton They didn't choose- they accepted the children that were referred to them. It turns out that the babies allll the other people didn't want were at-risk children (only David was a baby when adopted. The rest were all older).

So, its not a matter of "why did they choose black babies" but rather- "why were these kids left for so long without homes, why didn't anyone else love them like Greg and Stillman?"

  • I applaud the gentleman in this film for their ability to not only preach love but to act on it. It saddens me, however, that they have overcome one discrimination only to face another. It is now okay for gay men to adopt but not okay to adopt outside their color because they couldn't possible understand discrimination? To even suggest that they have not suffered themselves and that whites in general harbor supremacy belies a deep ignorance and hatred of its own caliber.

  • heartwarming.

  • Beautiful family... Lol at the typical sibling fighting

  • Where can I find this movie?

  • It is easier for some whites to deny the existence of institutional racism/white supremacy and the damage it has caused and continues to cause, as evidence of the comments and thumbs downs. Ignoring this problem will not solve anything. In fact, it makes matters worse. I could not agree more with Eric Holders comment that Americans are cowards when it comes to confronting race and racism.

  • I agree. There is a book out now called "The Hidden Brain" it discusses the biological effects of racism. I don't like to see white supremacist of any religion with African children because it's a self esteem booster for THEM not the children. The system of adoption has ingrained in it the system of white supremacy/thought. Many Africans are being turned away in order to keep the illusion that whites are better at raising their kids. No one brings up economic privilege.

  • "Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot in things racial, we have always been, and we, I believe, continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards," -Eric Holder, U.S. Attorney General

  • Isn't whats important that these kids are being raised in a loving and supportive environment? They could have been left in the gutter. Race is an important issue, but these parents are doing a great job. Love is more important that color.

  • Racism/white supremacy is a system.

  • It is interesting how SOME white gay/lesbian people can shout about how they experience discrimination and unfair judgement, but they can judge and discriminate against Black males. Unless you have lived and tried to achieve success while living in the skin of Black person, don't judge. White gays do not have the ablity or the right to compair their experinces to being born with Black skin. America is still extremely racist.

  • please show me some cases of this type of behavior. i am appaled by such things happening. i know white people try to infiltrate the lives of others and have done alot to thwart the movement of other cultures. how should we solve that and what do you think should be done to educate and bring these children into safe and nurturing homes? By the way, I love the name Isis. Just beautiful!

  • A Black father who is a recovering addict who has children with women who is still addicted. He has 11years of being clean a sober, and has custody of four of his five children. CPS took his youngest child, because he lost his home due to foreclosure. Instead of helping the father locate suitable housing, while he was living in temporary housing with his other children, they took his youngest child andnplaced the child up for adoption.

  • This Black father said he felt he was being penalized for being homeless. I agree, because this is typical when white social workers deal with Black parents who have limited resources. On the other hand, I have seen whites who are addicted and using drugs who are allowed to keep their children, and they are give chance after chance to get their acts together.

    RACE ALWAYS MATTERS!

  • didgedude1: There are whites who refuse to accept that Blacks must deal with navigating a society where institutional white supremacy

/racism negatively impacts every Black person, even the most powerful man in the world. Yes, even President Barack Obama has to fight institutional racism! Many whites would like to believe racism is calling a Black person nigger. Racism is denying people access to opportunities that allow them the same quality of life as whites. Statistics do not lie!

  • didgedude1: Thank you for the complement. I love the name, and I am a queen.

  • it's people like you keeping racism alive

  • Blame white supremacist social system that fosters institutional racism. Most of our social problems are rooted in this white supremacist system, which is perpetuated by white male patriarch. Placing these children in homes that are not culturally matched or sensative to their needs is not a solution to the problem.

  • I agree with you, totally and I am a white man. Racism still exists even if it is blanketed by media, a black president, etc. It is hard to place them in a culturaly diverse home when there are so many kids out there and so little parents, let alone stable ones that will nurture and take proper care of these children. A friend of mine was adopted by someone of his background who told him little of his roots and origins but more about the evils of the social system. What can we do??

  • Not even a white person with the best intentions can teach a Black child how to successfully fight racism without violence. Whites are still in denial about the existence of racism, and some are so ignorant that they believe it is associated with the word nigger. Racism is a system or operations that denies Blacks and other people of color access to opportunities that will offer equal quality of like. Statistics do not lie. Read the statistics, education, health, justice, employment, etc.

  • Violence deosn't solve violence. It is a cycle. If black people "destroy" their racist agressors then the cycle of racism, hatred, and violence will persist. That being said, white people who continue to preach hate, ignorance, and violence towards black will only create the same back. There has to be another way or we will never experience peace and understanding. History, religion, politics, and media must embrace black TRUE black culture and it's original roots and stop focusing on violence!

  • LOL @ "what these children will face."

How about what they already faced before someone was good enbough to give them a PERMANENT HOME and not send 'em back like puppies.

If you watch the film, in the first 20 minutes it's revealed it was not their idea. They took these kids because there was a need. They had been in and out of homes up to 14 times each, No other parents even came close to the job these men are doing.

  • Comment removed

  • Agreed.

  • Who else would take them in? No one else would want them and they would be raised through the system which definitely won't teach them a positive reality for black people. If I was adopted by a black family, I would be raised differently. That's not criminal, it's circumstantial. There are no apparent differences in children who are raised in a gay home vs. a straight home. Children show no higher tendency to be gay than a straight home nor do they lose their sense of roots. I think it is...

  • I know for a fact that the Department of Social Services/Family and Children Services does not provide or offer Black preants/families the supportive services that could help parents who are at-risk of losing their children to keep them, and they make little effort to place these chidlren with Black familes. Instead, these agencies fouse of snatching Black children form their familes and adoptiong to white people.

  • Institutional racism is used to achieve the covert agenda of white, often gay and pro-gay social workers. Institutioanl racism is pracitced in every American institution, education, health care, social services, etc.

  • Important to teach black children about their ancestry, culture, and teach them to trace back their family tree/origins in order to understand their true culture better. These parents should surround them with other black kids who are diverse such that they can create and learn their own culture. I wish the answer was easier but if we didn't have gay adoption, many kids would be left in the system, poor, homeless, and without the basic necessities of life.

  • didgedude1: These children need to learn the skills necessary to navigate and survive in a society were they will face harsh discrimination, prison, and possible death, because of the color of their skin. These children need to learn how to interact with people in this racist society who intend to hurt them and, if possible destroy them. They must learn these skills, if they are to succeed in the face of racist teachers, doctors, laywers, police, judges, classmates, neighbors, etc.

  • Yeah, how dare this white couple push and shove its way past the undoubtedly mile-long line of selfless African American men clamoring to adopt those boys!

  • Comment removed

  • Are you serious? Those have to be some of the most idiotic sentences I have ever read. You seem to be suggesting that only black men and women be allowed to adopt black children. Well, I guess following your logic, only white men and women should be allowed to adopt white children. It's honestly a ridiculous argument given the amount o children who stay in foster care and age out of the system, because no one adopts them. Please educate yourself on the system before you post again.

  • Smartass8504: You are not smart or educated. I know a great deal about the social services "system" and the institutional racism "system." It is not simplistic, as you would like to believe. There would not be so many Black children in this "system," if not for insitutional racism that has victimized their parents and forparents. It is no help to start a fire in my house because you don't like the color, and then give me a cardboard box as a replacement.

  • I never claimed that the system /is was simplistic, so please refrain from putting words into my mouth. I am quite aware of how things work in the social services system and your claim of racism as an excuse for almost everything has little factual backing and does not hide the fact that what you previously claimed (Black people should raise black children), is based on nothing but sheer ignorance of the system itself...and is in turn reverse racism.

  • I also find it funny, that you think you know enough about me from one Youtube post to assume that I am "not smart or educated". That says a lot about you and your character.

  • In general, white people think they know what is best for other groups. They know what is best for the entire world!

  • Nothing like some generalized reverse racism to attempt to prove your weak points. Generalizations are not going to help whatever point you think you have.

  • Smartass8504: You do not even know what racism/white supremacy is. When you learn what racism/white supremacy is and how it operates and impacts the lives of people of color, then you will be qualified to discuss this issue with me. You are now on MUTE, fool!

  • Spare me. You have cried racism in almost every post, only to turn around and attempt to lump all "whites" together and in a negative light. Instead of being a hypocrite, why don't you actually post a constructive argument, void of such ignorant, generalizing statements.

And...did you honestly just end a post by calling me a "fool"? Really? How childish.

It sucks to have the weakness of your own arguments called out, doesn't it?

  • MUTE!

  • I just bumped into this on the web. I will show this to everyone I know whether they like it or not- especially those who are homophobic.

    God bless these gentlemen.

  • Seriously, there are plenty of same-sex couples and hetero infertile couples, who want to be responsible parents. But the reality is that there is this selfish fantasy of wanting an ideal healthy newborn, while there are tons of "at risk" kids, where their biological parents were addicted to drugs. Same-sex couples have a tendency to adopt kids who are not wanted from so called "traditional families." I say God bless Stillman& Greg for doing a wonderful thing :)

  • This seems like a wonderful documentary! I'm all for gay adoption. Same-sex couples like those two good men are actually making a selfless contribution to the world. There are over a half million kids in the US foster care system, thanks to the failures of neglectful breeders. If anything, gay adoption seems to be a viable solution to the dysfunctional state of heterosexual over breeding lol!

  • this nice

  • is the film not going to be completed. the website says it was supposed to be done in '07. i'd really like to see it. :[

  • What theses men are doing is wonderful! Its a shame that our society is so fearful of what they don't understand. Those children now have a loving home with two parents.

  • People always miss the issue.

The fact is, 5 kids who were labelled as "at risk" found a home, parents and stability- even though life had its hardship, they're the better for their experience. They are the new generation of tolerance.

  • interesting how idiots here blame the gay parents for what the stupid homophobic people of our society does to their children, instead of blaming the attacker, they blame the victims? the victims are the gay parents and their children, the attackers and the ones doing wrong are the heterosexuals and homophobics and racists insulting them idiots!

sorry my english isn't the best one, my native language is spanish, oh fuck now blame the bilingual too

  • hey everybody,

this november 2009, 19 minutes of "preachers sons" will be on the public television show "in the life". google "in the life" to find out what time it on in your area. enjoy.

  • I look up to you two (the guys in the video). You seem like good parents and it also seems like you don't let others' hate really affect you. Also, adopting 5 boys of color from the foster system. You have my unending admiration. I hope to be able to follow in your footsteps someday.

  • Hell yeah Isis.Tell the truth & shame the devil. This aint cool at all.

  • thegreatcrates,

They do not give a damn about the survival of Black children. All they care about is money and their own personal satisfaction. This is a crime, and any attempt to justify this is a crime. Black children are not guinea pigs to be used for whites to perform their social experiments. Where is our outrage?

  • Exposed2468,

I agree with you. Let the truth be told.

  • @Exposed2468 No, if they were using the children they wouldn't invest so much time and energy into caring for them, you can see they are very well mannered and happy and as theyr come from troubled homes they will have had a lot of stuff to deal with, fostering and adoption children who are not newborns are very hard, u have so much extra baggage to deal with, its best they are with loving parents rather than feeling forgotten and unwanted in a carehome. Get over urself.

  • Comment removed

  • thegreatcrates: If they really cared about these children and their future, they would be ashamed. These people do not gave a damn about this children. People of color who are disadvantaged are always exploited by those who foster insitutional racism.

  • California, San Francisco included, is known for its covert racism. These children may receive some acceptance, because they have white adoptive parents. However, the white male patriarchal society marginalizes Black males and females. Hence, Black children, disproportionately, make up the largest of foster children.

  • I wonder how easy it would be for two black males to adopt five little white boys?

  • Who will teach these children how to navigate a racist society, where their very lives depend on their skills in this area? Who will teach these children what they need to know, as males of color?

  • Why can't we focus on correcting the problems that creat foster child (children without parents)?

  • dis is da worst thing i eva seen how could dey do dat 2 dem kids i feel like crying 4 dem their life is gonna b so messed up n confused they gonna need so much counseling 4 da rest of their life u heard dey said they get teased evday omg how can youll do dis 2 these poor kids

  • ATTN ALL YOUNG WOMEN:Save your comments.Nobody cares what you think about this one.Unless you've got a dick & a male ego, your opinion is of no value on this issue.

  • Uh, how so?

These people are members of the same faith tradition as me. I see them as Church-fellows. I have just as much a right to express my support to them as you seem to do pulling them down.

The kids are fine, by the way. All growing up into strong young men.

  • Knock it off.The OVERWHELMING majority of religious ppl (Especially Christian) believe that homosexuality is an abomination & that gays will burn in hell...

  • If you'll notice, all of these videos are of grade school kids too young to know whats goin on and made by the gay parents...

  • ...I've yet to find ONE video of teenage kids or adults. There arent any video responses in defense of gay adoption by ppl who were actually raised by 2 dads...

  • ...I've yet to even find a comment by someone who was raised by gay parents.Ask yourself - Why do you think that is??

  • Bottom line.I'm sure I speak for at least 98% of all straight men when I say that no straight man wants to live in a house with 2 gay men, especially not be raised by them...

  • ...Of course at the age of 5 or so,anybody would choose the nice guys with the house fulla toys and barnyard animals over foster care.Sure.....

  • ..But I'd bet you anything that by the age of reason, say 12 or 13,most guys would prefer to stay in foster care & wait for a normal couple.Guaranteed.Dont believe me??Ask any straight guy you know.Hell, ask a teenage boy.

  • By the time a child has been raised away from bigoted attitudes like yours, they will love their parents for who they are.

  • "raised away from bigoted attitudes" How you gonna manage that??Seclude them from the world? You do realize how bigoted most ppl are right??Especially kids...

  • No, I mean lets just allow them to live their lives, and raise them up to be stronger than you give them credit.

  • Ok.For 1.You are doin exactly what you accuse me of.Insulting, offending & pushin your ideas unwaveringly.

  • As if you didn't do it first.

All I ask is that we allow gay people to adopt the kids who need homes, and accept that they make great parents. Ignore the idiocy of bigots and show the kids that there is nothing wrong with having gay parents.

And that is does not effect a straight person's masculinity to associate with gay men, as you seem to suggest.

  • If you think that is the case, then you are misinformed about homosexuality.

In which case you need to research and talk to more gay people, rather than assume most straight men don't want to engage with gay people on a close level.

  • No.If you dont think that is the case you dont know much about male heterosexuality or are lyin to serve your own purposes..

  • So you think homosexuality sucks away masculinity from striaght people?

I socialise frequently with both gay and straight guys, closely. They're my everyday friends. They sure beg to differ from you. They live together, go surfing, play video games, all the normal stuff friends do.

  • "homosexuality sucks away masculinity from striaght" Who said that??

  • You seem to suggest that by straight guys not wanting to associate with gay guys, they have something to lose by doing so.

Whats the most important thing to men? masculinity.

  • You need to understand something.I personally am not bigoted towards gay ppl.I just recognize that most ppl are.And I dont think that kids should be subjected to that bigotry...

  • Then why don't you get out there are support gay affirmation, rather than just say "Its not gonna change, lets just keep the kids in group homes forever" when there are perfectly good parents out there for them?

If the view of homosexuality is changed, the bigotry will start to ebb

  • ...I'm 26 and have known guys from every walk of life & can tell you that most of us are very homophobic.Kinda just goes with the territory.

  • Thats the loser attitude. You only think that way because society tells you to.

I say that society needs to be changed.

So, you admit that you are homophobic? You are against homosexuals, then?

If not, why don't you help change societies perception of these everyday ppl who just want to help kids?

Do you think homosexuality is wrong?

  • I never said I am homophobic.Have nothing against gays.Dont think homosexuality is wrong.

  • Then if bigotry concerns you, why not stop kids from being adopted by liberal christians? Or members of minority groups? You can't avoid bigotry. Kids need to be raised to be stronger than the bigotry, not hidden from it.

Its the kids who are exposed to chicken pox that don't suffer from it in the long run. Leave it to adulthood, and it gets very severe.

  • You're absolutely right.Society needs to change. But like I said before, until it does kids shouldnt be in the middle of this controversial issue.

  • Society doesn't change in one go. Its gradual. And until then, kids will face bigotry no matter who they are. Its part of life. So lets give these parentless kids a family.

It shouldn't be controversial. Thats the issue. But ppl like you make it controversial. Its just dads and their kids. Nothing more. Move along.

But you can't let it go, you think you're doing the kids a favour!

You must be the first non-homophobic bigot I've ever met. Thats not something to take pride in.

  • 3:20 TO 5:05 is exactly why kids shouldn't be adopted by gay people.

  • thegreatcrates: Your comment is correct!

  • I agree- I feel so bad for kids having to suffer b/c of other people's hate...

  • df61660:Was that comment for me or Treemeadow?

  • Me saying that straight men dont want to be raised by gay men is not bigotry. Its reality....

  • No its not. Some don't, but not all. My closest friends are comprised of gay and straight guys. The straight guys don't care who raises kids. In fact, I've told one of them about you and he says "Get a life".

He loves his gay friends like brothers. Something you can't seem to understand.

  • So you know a couple very open minded ppl.Great.I happen to be one of them.I have gay friends & family myself.Doesnt mean he's right about this.

  • You're deluding yourself if you think your actions demonstrate open-mindedness.

You're not right either. There is no right. Just case by case scenarios. Kids need parents. It shouldn't matter whether or not they're gay, straight, bi or asexual.

  • I'm deluding myself??Thats rich.Let me give you a scenario.I'm totally opposed to gangbangin.Think its silly & needs to stop.However.....

  • ..since it is a reality,I dont wear blue in a Blood neighborhood.See what I mean?I'm open minded to the possibility & greatness of peace & aware of the reality of violence & ignorance at the same.

  • and you think that is not a derogatory statement. That Straight men don't want to really recognise the humanity beyond gay people.

NORMAL couple? How is that NOT derogatory? Gay couples are a normal couple.

Your attempt at hiding your anti-homosexual sentiments fall flat.

    Bigot. Plain as day.

  • @thegreatcrates Easy. There aren't many. Why? Gay adoption is fairly recent.

For the far and few adults and older teens, I have only come into contact with kids who are like any other. They have grievances, they have things that bother them. But they also love their lives and love their family.

Just because the comment has not been seen by you, does not mean it has not been made.

  • For the last time,if you're not a straight man, you're opinion means nothin here. You're opinion is as worthless here as a man's incite on rape or PMS or child birth...

  • ..And that goes 2x for cutesy cuddly white girls. If you like Lisa Frank & teddy bears, you dont get to talk. And gay guys really have no say in the matter.Conflict of interest.

  • I appreciate my MALE doctors opinions on PMS and childbirth. Rape happens to men too, you know.

You're quite bigoted. You're the only one who thinks female opinions don't matter on this issue. No one else minds. You're quite a foolish fellow.

  • Yeh.You may appreciate your doc's medical knowledge, but I'm sure you wouldnt appreciate some guy tellin you how well he'd handle the pain of cramps or childbirth.

  • I sure do appreciate any advice I can get. Just like I can give advice on a broken leg although I have never experienced it.

You see, the difference between us is this: I am open minded, you are not.

  • Bigot??How?I haven't said anything derogatory about homosexuals at all.I just dont think that kids should be put in a situation that will make them the target of bigotry.

  • Definition of bigotry: One who so strongly believes that their belief is correct, going so far as to deliberately isnult, offend or push their idea sunwaveringly on others.

The way you talk about Straight men not wanting to associate with gay men on more than a superficial level speaks loudly enough about how you think of this matter.

The way to end bigotry is to make ppl recognise these as valid families, not stop them from happening.
