PETA was founded by an animal rights fanatic, and is backed by fanatic groups that have done some pretty lame thing (firebombing and arson, for example), and they treat humans (who just happen to belong to the animal kingdom) like shit.

I'm against the mistreatment of animals, but in no way do I support PETA.
